I have been a patient of Smart Dental Care for over 20 years and I love going to the dentist. The office is warm and inviting. From the time you walk in the door, you are greeted by a friendly staff and treated with respect and kindness. The hygienists are very thorough with their work. They make sure to pay attention to any sensitivity you may have to light, sound, and heat/cold. They discuss their procedures with you and answer any questions you may have. Drs. Smart and Clark are terrific dentists. I appreciate that they spend time with each patient. I have seen them calm the fears of little children. I have also witnessed them chatting about sports with their elderly patients. When I had to have major dental work performed, Dr. Smart walked through the details of the procedure and let me know what to expect. Afterwards when I needed a correction made on my crowns, the staff slid me right in to fix them so that I was not uncomfortable. Recently, I had to make an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. Dr. Clark discovered that I had loosened a filling with my flossing. He was able to fix it and send me on my way. Smart Dental is quick to use attorneys to collect whatever balance they think is due them. You either pay what they demand in full or be dragged into court, no matter what the circumstances are so be prepared to pay what they ask and if you disagree, you'll need to tell that to a judge as that is their operating method. They will orchestrate scenarios with insurance providers where they get from them everything little cent possible necessitating the need where the patient has the maximum out of pocket liability to Smart Dental whereby your insurance benefit/payout becomes as little as possible in that the insurance payout to Smart Dental is as big as possible. This manipulation leaves the patient out in the cold. They hire attorneys to collect for them who are ruthless and way over the top in their aggressive tactics, just be ready to be taken for a ride...
