Haven't had rolls or pastries this good since PARSONS ORIGINAL BAKERY IN RICHFIELD years ago! Butterflakes are so light and buttery--they peel apart and melt in your mouth! Harmon's grocery was selling Schmidts Butterflake frozen dough, but just stopped selling it this week! I'm so sad! I live in Orem---but it will be worth the trip to SLC for our Sunday dinner rolls!

I took some Sugar Cookies home and my 1 year old was dunking them in milk she was really enjoying those fantastic cookies,

Lunch was just great I had a strudel stick it was wonderful. This will be one of my stops at least once a week. Next time I will eat cake.

These are by far the best cookies in the world. I just can't stop eating them. Now, My daughter found out how good they are I must get more twice a day.

I have had no problems with this bakery at all. By far, the best carrot cake I have ever had. From rolls, to pastry, to cakes, they are great!

Fun desserts for weddings. They have lots of variety.

My family and I live out of town. When we travel we always stop here. They are the best pastries ever and are inexpensive! I'm a personal trainer so I'm careful with my treats... they really have to be worth the calories..and this is the place that is WORTH THE CALORIES! In fact, I'll be hitting the bakery right after a Sprint Triathlon this weekend!

I manage a local retail establishment and purchase cookies for my staff on Fridays. I usually spend about $50.00. Today I ordered two dozen chocolate chip and two dozen Valentine heart sugan cookies. The staff member who helped me did not want to try and hear my order. All she wanted to do was get me out of the store in as short a time as possible. The cookies were great however the service was very poor. I will think long and hard before I purchase anything from this bakery again. I would have purchased additional items for Valentine gifts for friends and family members if the employeed who took my order would have but given me 5 minutes of her valuable time.

It is a little more expensive than your average grocery store, but right in line with other bakery's... the eclairs are great, the cookies are fantastic, donuts great. Can't say enough good about this place, was suprised by some of the other comments.

This bakery used to be great, but the quality continuously declines while the prices increase. The last cake we bought was extremely dry and tasteless. We waited over 10 minutes for service; however, there was no one else in the bakery. Maybe they were waiting for us to leave and decided after 10 minutes we may actually need service since our pre-ordered cake wasn't available in front of the counter. The name on the birthday cake was spelled wrong (although I clearly spelled it 3 times during the order in response to the shouting "WHAAAA?" on the other end). A bad experience altogether. When I called to speak to a manager about the quality of the cake, I was told the manager was out, and "sorry." That about sums up the whole experience, sorry.

When I want a special treat, I go to Schmidt's bakery. I love their bienenstich and my daughters love about every other cookie--haystacks and german chocolate and mint sandwich, and toscos. I have often ordered eclairs and brownies for big socials and been happy with the results. We also ordered a wedding cake from Schmidt's--a fondant, three-layer that was beautiful to look at and a treat to eat as each layer was a different flavor and filling (we'll see just how well the frozen top layer lasts on the anniversary of the wedding). I appreciated their willingness to duplicate the dream cake my daughter had in mind and to use the ribbon we provided. They also delivered to our reception center without a hitch. A bit pricey but worth the cost now and then.

Have not had good experiences with the wedding cakes done by this bakery. They are dry and not very tasty. I can't fugure out why so many reception centers use them. The one cake was so bad Schmidt's even agreed, after seeing and tasting it that we deserved a free cake at another time. We ordered a sheet cake for a son-in-laws birthday and it was even worse; you would have thought that they would have tried extra hard to redeem themselves.
