Schatz Anderson and Associates performed no less than extraordinarily for me. I was so impressed with their services that to this day, I refer them to anyone who is in need for a criminal defense lawyer.



The charges I received put my current job, and future with the United States Marine Corps at jeopardy. Attorney Michael C. McGinnis of Schatz Anderson and Associates went to work and got the charges thrown out, and made them look like my incident had never even happened.



My choice to retain Michael C. McGinnis was the best legal choice I have ever made, and I can honestly say if I hadn't my life would be drastically going a different direction, and not a good one. It was most definitely worth the fair price I was charged for his services. To this day I can easily say it was the best thing I've ever spent my money on.

Two years ago today I hired Schatz, Anderson and Associates. I hired them out of SLC because I work there, although I live in Cedar City. Charles Stewart did everything he could to make sure my needs were met and that my concerns with the proceedings were always resolved. Being in the military this was sensitive case and could have resulted in me losing my security clearance and ultimately my job. Charles made sure to postpone the hearing long enough to resolve my deployment issues and made sure to push the trial when it needed to be resolved. Ultimately, I was found NOT GUILTY in front of a Jury Trial. If you know Cedar City you will understand how hard this is. Cedar City is a zero tolerance City and the prosecuting attorney would not plea bargain. Charles drove from SLC for all the hearings and even had a lawyer from St. George that was more familiar with the Cedar City system come in to help smooth things over with the small town locals. Charles knows all the ins and outs of the DUI legal system. He was able to break everything down and explain the technicalities of the situation to the jury helping them find me NOT GUILTY. I am very pleased, and hopefully will never have to go through this again but will make sure to let my friends in Cedar City know about this firm. Thanks for everything.

This is the most incompetent group of lawyers I can imagine. Most specifically, Michael C. McGinnis - their attorney in St. George, UT. This guy managed to drag out my case for 7 months and I got nothing for it. For seven months, I constantly had to contact the court to find out what was going on with my case. For seven months, McGinnis - nor his incompetent paralegal, Nicole Miller, contacted me one single time. After calling him repeatedly, he would tell me he was going to contact the court and get information, or help me find places to do community service, etc. Each time, it was as though I never spoke to him at all. He never did anything he said he would do. I would call and leave him voicemail...they would go unreturned. Only when I complained to the Salt Lake City office would he answer my calls. This is the biggest waste of $2,000 in my life. In the end, I got the same results I would have gotten if I'd simply shown up to court unrepresented and taken what was coming. Do yourself a favor and find another attorney and another law firm. Consider yourself warned.

A strong firm. I noticed that these guys are a but pushier than many of the other firms that I looked at. They are perfect for defense lawyers. I also really liked the idea of the free consultation that they give you to make sure your case is really legit.
