They installed a skylight a long with the new roof. The insert for the skylight (the part going down into the attic) was never installed and since the skylight kit wasn't itemized on the contract Olympus will not finish it even though I was told twice by their representative that there would be an insert. During the first two initial discussions before the work began, the representative and I talked about the insert and the finish work and what the differences were.

Olympus Roofing was great to work with and I would highly reccommend them to anyone. They were able to address my questions very quickly.

I had this company come out & do some shingle repair, fix two skylights, & roof inspection around June of 09. Had some shingles blow off in the same area & one of the two skylights was leaking. We called them three times & each time they said they would be intouch. Two snow storms later.we finally got someone to get someone out to our house to do warranty repairs. I was called out to work that day on emergency & roofer (John) showed up to my house & was very rude to my daughter. He said what an inconvenience it was for him to come out. Repairs were done by John that day & he left. My daughter called me very upset, so I called this John to see what the problem was & he started going off on me & hung-up on me before I knew what had happened, So I called the main office & reported the incident, a few days later a man named Richard Davis called to find out what happened, I told him & his reply was & I qoute " SOMETIMES ITS BEST JUST TO HANG-UP" So to me, he pretty much approved of his employee's behavior. Than he informed me that I owed them $ 120.00 for work not approved by me or by calling me before they did the work to let me know the cost. All of this on top of the almost $ 500.00 I paid them the first time they did the work that I approved the first time. This is warranty work there should be no charge. They gave me no chance to call another roofing company. I paid them the first time to do the job right. So far they have come to my house 3 other times to do warranty work by other employees without incident until JOHN came out. After that if I thought there was no warranty, I would not have called these people,I would have called another roofing company.
