You have no idea that there are many American Citizens who worked for Met Life in USA but settled back in the countries other than USA after retirement.. But You have no Provison for them to REGISTER on line to get their !099-R, ON LINE.. For online Registration one has to enter USA Phone No and mention USA states only. Is this PROFESSIONALISM?. All the 1099-R,such as So.Sc.Benefit,you are the only one who mail the documement late-.DISAPPOINTING..At least you can send 1099-R for those who have foreign address EARLIER than those in USA. Every year is the same story (Receive your 1099-R late or not at all due to ordinary mail delivery). Is this an EXPERTY? You are a world renown Company but like all other Internationaly known Company you have no FORESIGHT. What a Pity?
