Ledingham properties took over the lease of a property that myself and several other housemates had been renting for two years. They took care of more issues and offered more clear communication in the brief period of managing our rental than the previous leasing agency had the entire time we had been there. They worked with the owner to extend our lease for a month because of some unavoidable issues that prevented us from moving earlier. They performed a very fair inspection of the house condition when we left even though we didn't sign a lease that they wrote in the beginning. RaNae was completely willing to work with me in letting me know what their expectations were for cleaning and repair and she was impeccably honest with me about my expectations for the work I put in to that so no one was left on the losing end of a difficult situation. The honesty and willingness to communicate that Ledingham Properties acted with is something I wish I experienced much more often.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Ledingham Properties! Everyone was so professional and great to work with. They completely took the stress of being a landlord away! They were great to my tenants and always kept in contact if something needed to be fixed. They offered their services if I needed a repairman to come out right away. It was so easy to set up automatic deposits and statements were always clear regarding the balance. I could not have asked for a better property management company- Thank you! I would recommend you to anyone and would definitely use your services again!

Ledingham Family, We tried to be helpful and leave a few days early so you could secure a new 1 year contract with a tenant after we left, and even talked with the potential tenant (now current tenant) in the garage for 20 minutes about the perks of the property prior to your agent showing her the property and you repay us by prorating our rent for the time but then take majority of our security deposit...hence why I am posting this type of review on multiple sites. We pay your bills, and you make it less possible for us to pay ours...Thank you

Where to start? Dennis (contracted 3rd party maintenance man) helped us more with our property than any of the Ledingham family ever did. If you are looking at the 2549-2543 units off 5400 in Taylorsville, plan on: not having guests over because Ledingham will send you a letter saying you are blocking access for emergency vehicles and snow plows, which dont come when it snows and the tenants have to shovel the snow; not getting back majority of your security deposit; having leaks that dont get fixed; going without heat for 2 full nights...etc. Your problems most likely will be different when you move in, but plan on it not being a fun experience.

Worst company that I have ever rented from. We moved out and had the house professionally cleaned. It looked just as good as we got it. They charged us for the most ridiculous things like; cleaning the dining room hanging light, cleaned a fan in the bedroom, and a mirror. They also charged us for reattaching a screen on the basement window that the Roofers took off!! We also had a red stain in the carpet that we were aware of and paid to try to get it out professionally. Well they charged us another $50 to try to get it out. They also took more than 30 days to get out deposit back to us. They also asked us for proof of renters insurance 5 days before we moved out or they were going to charge us $15 for every month that they were there. Shouldn't they have been more organized and gotten it from us in the beginning? It is such a relief to not be renting under them. They are what give property management a bad name. We would never rent from them again!

The most dishonest corrupt people I've ever known. I was going to rent a house contingent on my ex paying the deposit and first month rent. I told Ledingham property that I was leaving for California and I would sign the papers when I'm back as long as my ex came through with the money. This company insisted that I signed the papers before I left saying this property was not going to be on the market when I got back. I reluctantly signed the papers the whole time telling them this is all continent on my ex paying. This was a Thursday, the following Monday I called and said there is no way my ex is going to come through with the money. I would need to cancel my contract. This is when the nightmare started. I was told they took it off the market. They didn't I lived two blocks from there. Not one time was the sign taken down. It was still listed on the Internet. They said I had to pay. They have ruined my credit sent me to collections a company that they actually own for a total of $ 3,326.59. I never even lived there!! These people are so dishonest!! What kind of place would even do this type of thing? Please please think twice before you get involved with this company.

Lived at one of their properties for over a year. When I moved in my car was robbed because it was not parked in the garage and I was not given an opener when I signed. When I complained to them they told me it was my responsibility to buy an opener. When I moved out they charged me for every small item them could think of resulting in losing almost all of my deposits. I'm an extremely tidy person and cleaned the house for days. I'd never live at one of their properties again. They do everything to charge tenants more and never listen to complaints.

Ledingham Properties has a policy of providing one garage door opener for each car that a garage will fit. The only reason we would tell a tenant that it was their responsibility to purchase an opener would be if they broke or lost it. I understand why you would be concerned if your car was broken into, but we are not responsible for the criminal acts of others. If a tenant feels that their deposit refund is not correct we provide simple form to dispute the charges. We only charge for cleaning and repairs that we can prove are caused by a tenant and back up our charges with photos and written documentation. We do not rip people of on deposits, period. We do not make any money keeping a tenants deposit, we only deduct the actual cost of any cleaning or repairs needed and use the money to pay the people that do the work to restore the property. We love giving full refunds when they are deserved, because it makes our life easier if the property is returned in good condition.
