Established in 1963, John C. Fremont Elementary is an educational facility that serves more than 535 students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides reading classes and extracurricular programs. The school offers special education classes for students with learning difficulties and operates a computer laboratory. John C. Fremont Elementary provides psychology and speech and language pathology services. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts book fairs and bingo beach parties, as well as a community council.
