I was traveling to Omaha when my transmission made a terrible noise and the check engine light came on. I was to say the least "frustrated". Leroy, however happened to park next to me at the Flying J Truck Stop that I was at. He led me to his shop clear across town. His mechanic James then came right out and took a look at the truck. He found a couple of small things for me to take care of later, but said that when that check engine light isn't reset, it can trick the vehicle into acting sick. After that I had no problems! It's so refreshing to find people away from home that will treat you with fairness and honesty. If Anyone is in the area and needs work done, J&G Transmission is the place to go!

I took my 97 chevy into their shop and brett was very upfront and honest with me and even offerd a great price and i was very anxious to get my truck back and drive it with my "new" transmission but as soon as i got in my truck and drove it off their lot right at closing time i noticed my truck was driving WORSE then when i dropped it off i talked to brett about the issues i was experiencing with my truck and he offered to bring it back in the shop for free so dending on what happens they will get either a good review or a bad one from me im a believer in second chances. So i can say i am impressed with his respose to the problems and his willingness to correct it but now its down to the service we Iwas prommised

When you need transmission work done call J&G Transmission first. They have been around for years and won't jerk you around. I wounl not go anywhere else in the Salt Lake Valley.

I had a slipping transmission and I took my car to these people. The service guy quoted me a price and gave me a time frame and when I picked my car up I was surprised "it was actually the same price he had quoted me". I had a new transmission put in a different car 3 years ago at another shop and when I picked it up they tried to sell me a warranty that cost more money. This warranty was included for the price that was quoted. If you have to put in a new tansmission this is the place to go! Thanks for a great job!

I was very satified with my experience with these people. They had my car finished when promised and they quoted me a price and stood by their quote. I'm glad I finally found an honest shop in this town!
