This little gem surprised me with not only the car I was hoping for , but all - in - one service. I did not have to get the car registered or anything else done - it was all included, including a recent NADA report, and a Car Fax. Alex actually went to my bank with me , waited patiently and walked it all out with me. I consider First Class Cars a humble but true little gem in the city. I will recommend. ~ Liz J

Be wary of these crooks.
My girlfriend bought her first car from First Class Cars. She said the sales process went ok, and she was fairly happy with her car, until she wrecked. Then we saw what First Class Cars was really like.
When she bought the car, they signed her up for insurance through a company that I assume either they own or are in some sort of partnership with. Well she slid off the road in some snow and hit a fairly sturdy traffic sign. The damage wasn't incredible, but due to the low value of the car, it should have been totaled. Her insurance didn't see it that way. They told her that she had to take the car to the auto body shop run by First Class Cars, right there in the parking lot. They gave her no choice. What a joke it became.
Her car needed a new front bumper, hood, headlights and radiator. Any decent shop could make these repairs in a day. They had her car for nearly 3 months. Every day she would call in, and they would give her the run around, never ever being up front with her. They'd say the mechanic was out or that they planned on starting it within the next couple days, but they just kept putting it off. In the meantime she was paying $25 a day for a rental while still making payments on her car.
When she finally got her car back, it was pathetic. The bumper was hanging limp, and one of the headlights was pointing WAY up. They made no effort to put the car back together right, just the bare minimum that would get it back on the road. And the paint. Ooooh the paint. Within ONE WEEK, the paint on the bumper started peeling. In a month, it was half gone. We literally used a garden hose to remove the rest of the paint from the bumper so that it was just all black instead of half silver.
She needed help on her credit score to get into an apartment, but they never once reported her payments to the credit bureau until a month after the car was paid off. And then to top it all off, after she made her last payment on the car, they gave her the run around again before giving her the title to the car a month later.
I would love to throw a brick through their office window and slash a few tires, but I'll take the legal approach and tell you about it. If you really must get a car from First (Worst) Class Cars, do not use any of the companies that they refer you to for insurance, loans, etc. They'll screw you bad to make a profit.

They're great at help those of us with not so great credit get into good safe cars plus help with maintaining that car for longer safe use

I bought my first car here at First Class. My parents sent me there because they had seen them in the same corner for a long time and felt comfortable with that. They had a good selection of cars & are not pushy. Thanks for the awesome Subaru!!!

I was so satisfied with my car purchase that I bought the first time, I knew that this was the dealership to go to for my second car buying experience. I had such a great rapport with this place that I had to come back to buy my second car from First Class Cars. The customer service there is surpurb and they always treat you like they are family and I always walk out of there feeling like I made the best decision on my car buying needs. I know that when I'm getting a car from this dealership, that it has been looked over and serviced with the best of intentions. I wouldn't choose any other car dealer in town, specially in Salt Lake because of the great experience that I've had in past years. Making payments are easy, and they work with you and your needs when it comes to financing. Being able to talk to somebody on the phone is hassle free and being able to have a personal one-on-one conversation about potential cars was a breeze, there was never a feeling of getting the runner round and I felt like I was getting the best deal for my financial situation. They like to work with you and put you in the car that would really suit you and that you know when you walk out that door that you will be happy with. Overall I think that this is a great company and I recommend it to everyone.

Your service is the best service I've ever experienced.

My girlfriend Jessica bought a car from them several months ago, a Honda crv. It was sold as an all wheel drive vehicle, something she needed since we lived in the mountains. After spending the winter skidding dangerously and thinking that it was just the tires, it came to her attention that they sold it to her with no rear drive shaft!! When asked about this their answer was "we don't know where it's been" as if she had it taken off herself?! Then the catalytic converter went and she was told by her mechanic that they had rigged it enough to run and pass emissions, but that there was no actual catalytic converter on the car! Their answer? "We don't know where the cars been." These people make a living off of the less fortunate, and are in the least scam artists if not complete criminals.

I needed a car and First Class is less than 2 blocks away. I saw that they say $300 down. Online it states $299 down. When I called I was told I would have to put at least $1000 down. I questioned the $300 I saw on their sign as well as online. I was told that is for the "mechanic special". The salesman said those are the cars that they can not get to pass safety and IM. He said with repairs I would be looking at $1000 anyway because a windshield alone can cost $200 alone then to pay for safety,IM and registration. I said "you would sell a car with a broken window?" He said "Look, I don't know. I haven't looked at ALL of them." Then told me not to come in until I have at least $1000 or more. So I went somewhere else. They lost my business strictly on bad attitude only. I recommend looking at BBB as well as reviews and make up your own mind.

The service I received at this dealership was awesome, the salesman Stephen was great he informed me of the maintenance that would be required on the car before I purchased it and everything else I needed to know before purchasing it.

Ruined my life by selling me into a terrible contract on a salvage car and costing me a job friends and more

After hearing and seeing the ad campaigns for this dealership I thought they were just like every other dealership with the goofy salesman, sales pitch to good to be true, etc. This was not the case at this dealership. My husband and I were very surprised at their professionalism and how different they were compared to the other dealerships we had been to while looking for a vehicle for our growing family. We ended up buying our vehicle from them and will be back in the future to buy our second car from them. We were pleased with this dealership.

I just got a car at First Class Cars and they were great to work with. They were extremely helpful. Everyone was just so nice and fun to work with. I had difficulty getting into a car at other places and they put me into to a great car. They have great cars and are really affordable.

I just purchased a 2006 Nissan Xterra with low miles, every option available, in almost new condition from First Class Cars. My salesman, Alex, could not have been nicer and more patient. Alex helped me with the financing and he spent more than 3 hours answering my questions and letting me test drive. I was referred to First Class Cars by my neighbor who also said that he loved his car and also received great service. I am very happy I was referred to this dealership. I went to more than 20 other dealers, I saw other Xterra's with higher miles and not in as good as condition for over $4,000 more. I got a great vehicle at a great price, and I wanna thank Alex and everyone at First Class Cars for their service. Save your money, and your time and just go to First Class Cars. Sincerely, Cowboy
