I would highly recommend Enerbank for home improvement. It only took a matter of minutes to get approved of the loan and the terms are well within my budget.

Although the process was an easy one, we decided to pay off the loan well before interest could be acquired.

I was a Wells Fargo employee for 15 years (and a US Bank employee before that), and not one personal nor professional transaction I experienced at either bank was as convenient and efficient as the EnerBank lending process. Note: EnerBank is a subsidiary of CMS Energy, a midwestern utility. The Stagecoach has been outdone by the gas company. Excellent customer service (and an excellent loan product, IMO). Five out of five stars!

Hard to do business with. Replaced all my windows and the window company got the loan with them. I had no verbal contact, no email contact with anyone. Their site is not used friendly, can never find a balance of the loan. Would not use them again.

I cant believe that in such a digital world, that Enerbank doesn't allow online payments. At least 10 years behind the times. And from the sounds of the reviews, it causes numerous problems with lost payments for customers.

I used EnerBank USA to finance a screenroom. Financing was explained to be in great details over the phone and by contractor. Within a month of the project being completed I received a payment book. I had opted for 12 mos SAME AS CASH/12 mos NO PAYMENTS. The project was completed in October, I made no payments. I paid the BALANCE IN FULL in March, called to verify balance I had no problem. This was in excellent way for me to get a project completed wiithout having all the cash in hand. Enerbank USA was a very POSITIVE, EASY, SIMPLE experience for me. I did not have any problems what so ever. GIVE THEM A TRY

We had our home painted by Cer...

We had our home painted by CertaPro and financed a 6m no interest no payment through EnerBank. The loan amount was paid in full within two weeks time. 30 days later EnerBank sent a payment book. We contacted them to find out why and found out they had charged us 29.30 in interest. We called again and they stated we did not sign up for the interest free program. We have the documentation to prove we signed up for Easy Pay and also the paper work that shows Easy Pay is 6m no payment no interest.

The 29.30 is a small amount, but it is the principal of the matter. They refuse to admit they made an error and I refuse to allow them to engage in what I now believe is fraud. I will gladly update this review once EnerBank admits they made a error and refunds me the 29.30 I have paid.

We had rebath redo our bathroo...

We had rebath redo our bathroom last year and we applied for a loan half of the total amount of the job. It was $2300. Rebath had enerbank give us a loan for $2300 with zero % interest. So we did go with the remodeling. At the start of the loan, we got a payment book with the dates and the amount to pay dated September 2011. The loan was done in September 2010 and we didn't get anything from them until December 2010. I made the first payment of $500 on Dec. 12, 2010. Check # 164. Next payment was January 7, 2011 for $300 check # 165. Then the next payment was February 4, 2011 for $500 check # 168 and then on February 21, 2011 for $500 check # 169 and the last payment was on March 8th, 2011 for $500 check # 171. Add it all up = $2300. Mind you during the time that we were making these payments, NOT and EMAIL or SNAIL MAIL from ENERBANK. So we figured since I can see it online and it shows that it's paid off, maybe it's already done. Today came, SEPTEMBER 12, 2011. We got a letter from them stating that we owe them account balance of $243.60. They want us to pay a monthly amount of $67.74. They said that the DUE DATE was 7/7/2014.. This is Just crazy.... Here's the letter that they sent us.... "Our records indicate that you entered into a Same as Cash loan agreement on 9-7-2010. After reviewing our records, it appears that we have not received the full principal balance on or before the same as Cash due date of 9/7/11. As stated in your note and disclosure, your loan is now a fixed rate installment loan that requires a minimum payment that is due every month as stated above. If you have any questions, please call our customer service department at 1-888-390-1220."
