Ridgecrest Elementary serves more than 475 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school has a staff that includes a full-time nurse, guidance counselor, library assistant, speech and language pathologist, reading specialist and occupational therapist. It offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Ridgecrest Elementary also provides a reading assistance program for students in grades one and two. The school operates a library and media center that offers various resources, such as books, encyclopedias, newspapers and dictionaries. It has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast.
