I shopped at this location on Saturday 1/7/2017. I did not get greeted by any store associate's, I did get greeted by your HP representative.
When I walked back to the laptop section there were 4 associates standing around chatting with each other and not engaging the customers at all, when I asked where an item was they pointed instead of walking me to the item, I asked two more associates and received the same response. I love shopping here unfortunately not because of your customer service but the items you sell.
I have been in retail since 1980 and know how important customer satisfaction can impact a retailer. Next time I need to shop a Best Buy I'll try a different location.
And finally regretfully I cannot even rate this location one star at all, but not able to post unless I do.
Possibly more training is needed in how to display better Customer Service.

Depressed Afterwards When you think of Best Buy you think of awesome electronics and great accessories. Maybe, but I will now think of some of the most troubling customer service I ever experienced. Now, when I see the Best Buy logo, I can't help but to feel a little depressed and afraid to go into their stores. I bought headphones. They worked well for six weeks. Then the inevitable happened, but the inevitable shouldn't appear that quickly with good products. The slip on plastic ear buds are not replaceable, because as the agent at the counter said, "no one ever wants to replace those, they always want to buy new headphones." "You can always try another company." Okay, I'll probably feel better if I do.

Very surprised

I expected they'd hassle me when i returned a pooped-out digital TV converter. I had the original box, but no receipt. They let me exchange it ... no questions asked. Quick and easy. Customer service has improved a lot over a couple years ago, when it sucked big time.

Service I very Bad

I have been dealing with this company for over a month. I first ordered a TV online from them On Feb. 22, 2009, and was double charged for the item. I then called to get the money back for the other charge. I was informed that they had to send a fax and never did so. I then cancelled my order and still no fax was sent. It has takin me over a month in a half to try and get my momey from then. I have delt with some very good people from her and some very bad. On of the women that work there told me that they have to charge twice and then i was told my my card company and another worker from Best Buy that "no i was not to be charged twice". I do not advise anyone to order from this company.

As for the BestBuy stores in salt lake Utah, If you are lucky enough to find the store phone nunmber in their web sites...

Ask the salesmen to search their store stock for a certain item. You want to buy it and have it installed today or tomorrow if possible. You will give them kids the " SKU" number and listen how they run around like chickens with heads cut off. In the mean time putting your call on hold, transfering to one extention, then to another, and somehow you'll find yourself talking to a pooy youngster that sounds like a high School drop-out that doesn't know his left from his right. Shame... you'll never be able to purchase a thing over the phone. and forget about getting an appointment to have it installed. Ahhh. BUT if you ask the same kids to recite by heart the biography of their U of U football players or the Utah Jazz scores for the last three years YOU'LL HEAR them lowd and clear. girls too. No lisping or any traces of mental retardation here. We are so prowd of our blessed offspring!! and to think this is the future of our country !!!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole life of retail. How is it that you can pay cash for a 52inch samsung television take it home,take it out of the box plug it in and nothing!!!! so load it back up and have it back to the store within 3hrs and they acussed US of breaking it because the box was not damaged and the tv was. How can they say that I am a dishonest person,thats like me saying they are the ones who broke it and they sold it to a customer to save their own hide. Now they are going to throw the t.v. out and keep MY money they think anyway. SEE YOU IN SMALL CLAIMS

Dont get anything installed at Best Buy. I installed my car dvd system there, it broke and when I took it back they denied ever installing it. This was the Murray store.

If looking for DVD's Best buy has a great selection. They most always have some really good prices on movies. I don't shop Best Buy for Employee know-how. If I am going to make a purchase I research internet first. Best Buy is a great place to get hands on use.

The worst electronic store in the valley!

Best Buy is by far the worst of this industry in Utah! When you have questions about particular items like computers or software thier salespeople generally have no clue about general information on the products they sell. ######The line waits are horrible, even during times of the year when they are not busy. ######And they do not give you the price match 10% dicount like they claim to do even when you provide a competitors ad. ######Alas, when you have a legitimate complaint and you ask for a manager, they refer you to the 1-800-bestbuy number. when you put it your compliant at this number and ask if they can have someone call you back, they tell you they do not do that. And when you ask for a district manager to talk to locally, they tell you they don't give out that info as well. They have a monopoly over complaints. Worst store ever, I will never shop there again, and I advise people to spend your money with local businesses that Best Buy is trying to put out of business.
