I scheduled a routine furnace maintenance, the soonest they could come to my house was over two weeks away. I thought that was fine, since I hadn't needed to turn my furnace on yet. The day I had scheduled with them was the first really cold day of the season, and I was looking forward to turning the furnace on that night after it was serviced. I took the afternoon off work so I could meet the repairman. I waited and finally called them at 3:30 pm, but the line was busy and I had to keep trying for half an hour. The receptionist said that due to the cold a lot of people with "emergencies" had called for service and my appointment had to be bumped. I had been on the schedule for weeks and should have been served before others who had not been prepared, but it was obvious that they would rather take the big money emergencies over my $40 service special. No call from them, no apology for inconveniencing me. She even tried to reschedule me in a week, what a joke. Never again.

Action Plumbibg is probably the worse company I have ever dealt with. It took he 8 days to get them to fix my furnace. It was over Thanksgiving when the teperature was down around 6 degrees. Technician disappeared after I had given him a check for $1200.00. They told me to stop pmt and would send out new tech. Finally fixed my furnace I had heat for 14 days when it barok again. I am in a rental and thankfully my landlord had not paid Action for the service. They would not work on it until she paid. Hired another GREAT company that came out and found that Action had installed the wrong size moter which could have resulted in a fire. Do not use this company they spend a lot of money on advertising but don't back their product or service. Over rated.

I had action come out to our home to check our furnace and make sure everything was going to work great for this winter. They made it out the next day and I must say the service was great! They were so nice and I was able to watch them work on the furnace. They answered all of my questions and even showed me what they were doing. I really enjoyed it and am glad that their service was so good. If I ever have any problems with my furnace I will be calling them back.

i had a nice sales rep from action come to my house. he talked to one of his managers and told me action would compete with a competitors price and offer me better equipment and service. i chose to go with them and let my other offers go. action became a HUGE WASTE OF TIME and were UNRESPONSIVE to phone calls. they came into my house and told me what they were going to do and then never called me back. when i finally got a hold of them to get it going, the sales rep told me that management decided that they were not going to do it because they got more business. ACTION DOESN'T BELIEVE IN STANDING BEHIND A VERBAL CONTRACT. The management finally called me back and treated me RUDELY and was very HARD TO WORK WITH. i was happy to come to an agreement and the manager told me they refused to honor their claims and wouldn't even try because they had gotten more business and too busy. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER THEY ONLY WANT MONEY. They make claims and don't follow them. DON'T TRUST

Do not call this company--they will lie to you and try to convince you that you need a new furnace. I called them to do my yearly check-up and cleaning. They told me my furnace needed to be replaced and tried to sell me a new unit for $2,800. I called two other companies for another opinion and the other two said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my furnace. Action Heating and Air is known for trying to rip-off unsuspecting customers. BEWARE

I called Action Heating & Air (West Jordan, Utah) to do the annual cleaning service on my furnace. The technician came upstairs after approx. 15 minutes to inform me that he had some "bad news" for me. He said that upon his inspection, he found a crack in the heating exchange unit of my furnace. However, before he condemned my furnace, it was "company policy" to have a second technician (also an Action employee) verify the crack. The second technician arrived and quickly confirmed that my furnace was much too dangerous to run because it could very easily kill myself and whole family due to carbon monoxide leaking into the airstream through the heating ducts. After scaring me to death, the hard-sales pitch came with the two of them acting like some sort of "tag team." My "gut instinct" made me suspect these Action employees were trying to pull a fast-one on me. However, I was so nervous about "poisoning my family" that I refused to run my furnace for three days until I could get

I was having problems with my furnace and they were able to fix the problem in no time. It wasn't a big fix but I was glad to have it fixed so that I could finally heat my home a little warmer.

I had them come in to clean my coils and they over charged me by $200 dollars and didn't clean the coils correctly and the water from the coils flooded and ran down into my furnace and ruined it.



He also told me that I had a leak in my Starter Valve and that it would be $500 for the part alone. When he left I got online and found that I could get the part for $144. Later on I had a real tech come out from another company and he used a detector, not his nose, and we found the leak to be in the pipe connecting into the starter valve and all I had to do was re-attach the gas pipe with new plumbing wrap (or whatever they use to seal the connection.)



When I called them they took my complaint but never called me back. I would never allow them back into my house again. I would never do business with them again.



I should have known things were wrong with the company when I overheard the tech talking about operation get money while working in my house.



What a dishonest company!

I wish I would have listened to a friend who is a plumber before I ever called Action to come fix my A/C unit. He told me not to let them fix it because they are known for being the higher priced company. THey came and said it would cost $350 to fix the start cap. He was there for a total of 45 min. at 11pm that night my house was still 90 degrees. My husband got it going at about half power for 2 weeks when it went out again. We called and the tech came back out 2 days later. He couldn't find the problem after going 3/4 of the way through the machine. I had to call another company to find out the condensor was gone. If Action would have found the problem the first time it would have been covered under manufactur warrenty. We are still trying to get our money back. 100% satisfaction my butt! We keep getting told the check is in the mail but it has yet to arrive. DON'T USE ACTION for anything!!!!!

called to fix a clogged kitchen sink, the repairman couldnt get a snake into the drain, so we paid a few hundred extra and had them pressure wash the main line from the roof and had them install a garbage disposal got a 90 day warranty on the pressure washing of the line and a 3 year on the disposal they kept having problems with the circut breaker cutting off their machine, but said it was probably good enough. Two weeks later it plugs up again, same guy comes out and gets it cleared by plugging up one side of the sink and turning on the disposal to pressure the line . about a week later, the sink plugs up yet again and floods when the dishwasher pumped the dirty water into the plugged sink, causing some $3500 in damages to the kitchen. They came right out and re pressure washed the line, hadbut when asked about the damages they called it "customer negligence" and washed their hands of i

I should of read the reviews. I has the same problem everyone else had. Dishonest serviceman that try to rip you off and do a bad job at the same time. Please spread the word on how bad this company is.

Paid for a tune up, ended up calling some else to fix what they did.Avoid At all Cost. Paid for tune up, after they checked the pressure on the unit, the valve was left open and all the coolant leaked out. The tune-up was a complete waste of time. Cheap trick to sell you something you don't need. I would not trust them with my Grand Mother. Also don't bother arguing with them, they will put words in your mouth. That is last time I fall for a stupid advertisement. I told them I was going to write this review on Google and they said I would hear from their attorneys.

This was our first time going to use Action for our service needs. We are very very upset with theirvservice!! We will never call them for anything again! Our air conditioning is broken and we called them and they said someone would be out to fix it on Saturday. We never recieved any phone calls telling us why no one had shown up until we called again later Saturday afternoon. They said they could not get to us until the next day, which would have been fine. Someone was supposed to be here between 8-12 on Sunday morning, again no call. We called them back around 1 and were told someone would be here at 2, again no call, someone finally called us at 4 and said he was coming. We had gone out to the garage for a few minutes when he arrived so we missed him. We called him right back but he was really rude to my husband and actually hung up on him! Action is not a reliable company. We were having them come out to do a furnace tune-up and green sticker our furnace. They came and did a "water test" which i found out is not a legitimate way to test a furnace. Anyway they ran their so called tests and showed me where our furnace was leaking and the technician said, we should all be sick from carbon monoxide poisoning and that he had to shut off my furnace. i'm a very trusting person so i believed him and then he tried to sell me a furnace that was supposedly this amazing deal, it wasn't, we checked with other companies. We decided to get a second opinion (From questar this time just to check for co levels) They came out, inspected the furnace and said it's old, but for an old furnace it's actually running quite well just very dirty. So we got it cleaned and tuned up and green stickered. i do not feel that Action is a trustworthy company. Think twice before using them!

Was not very happy with the service. I had them come out because the pilot light does not stay on. And they told me to turn down the temperature. Now we have it going out every day and have to relight it and not as much hot water turning down the temperature. Wrong info guys!. They said they fixed our sink faucet and now it falls off! Wrong again guys! But don't worry they only charged us $89!!! What a scam!!!

the sales schemes used with action plumbing are to suck more money out of their customers then needed, the quote "option package" is used and its a scam. most of the plumbers there aren't even licenced journeymen plumbers, not even licenced for that matter. they are un trustworthy and don't care how the job is done. They use the cheapest materials out there, but charge for the most expencive.

On the radio this morning, I heard an Action Heating and Plumbing ad. The gist was that Action Dog was speaking with a Leprechaun who had a high voice. Action dog then said, 'Well, I mean, I don't like rainbows the same way YOU do. Nice tights, by the way.' So, if you or a loved one are part of the, 'Rainbow,' community, you may want to look elsewhere for your plumbing and heating needs.

I asked them to come do a price quote on cleaning a drain. Instead, they tried to do a high pressure sales approach. I HATE high pressure salesmen. Don't invite them into your home unless you like high pressure salesmen.



I had them clean the drain while they were there, but they only did a mediocre job and left a TERRIBLE mess on the floor around the drain. Apparently the drain was clogged with rice and other starch foods. They somewhat cleared the drain, but left lots of rice and drain residue all over the floor around the drain. I would expect a company to at least clean up after themselves.



Overall, I wouldn't call them again. I have had much better service with other companies without the high pressure sales and for the same price.

Action Plumbing is the most dishonest and unprofessional company out there. They didn't show up the first night they were supposed to come, that should have been a sign to not use them. When I called to find out what happened they said that I had never called them but that they would send someone the next night. The guy came out and gave us our free estimate and said he would be back first thing the next morning to replace our water heater because it was an all day job. He showed up more than 3 hours late and then took less than 2 hours to do the job. A few days later I had a different plumber come out for another job and when he saw what Action Plumbing had done with our new water heater he told us that they hadn't brought it up to code and that they had used old parts from our previous water heater. I have tried calling Action Plumbing to fix the problem and they won't return phone calls.Be warned, don't use Action Plumbing they will rip you off and do the job incorrectly.
