Dr. DeMarco at Whole Pet Veterinary Care in Salem integrates modern medicine and ancient wisdom. She's the only vet I know of in the area who not only has cutting edge traditional Western Veterinary equipment, but also uses alternative and traditional eastern medicine practices including acupuncture and herbal medicine to achieve amazing results. Her office is more like a comfortable home and my dog doesn't tremble when I open the door so he can walk in. Dogs just know when they're approaching a veterinary office and they can put the skids on and refuse to go in. Not here. Her staff is great too.

The staff has been wonderful caring for the feral cats I've brought in. They have been extremely helpful and patient with me and the animals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
