I had gastric bypass in 1993 and it was very successful. I kept the weight off for all of these years, but since retirement, have gained about 25 lbs.I had cancer surgery in 1974 and had terrible diarriah. I have taken every medicine for it but nothing works.My sister brought to my attention that I did not have the diarriah after surgery because I did not eat as much.My insurance is AARP but if I can make any other arrangements, I will try. I will try anything at this point as it has gotten worse over the past 2 years.I have been to 2 gastric specialists who says they can do the bag. I have said no. I am at my wits end.I want to attend my Grandsons (who I raised) graduation from the military intelligence in July, but as of right now, I can't.Please help me and advise.Thank you,Carole P.
