If you think the positive online reviews of Swanson Lathen Prestwich, PC located at 3040 Commercial St SE Suite 200, Salem, OR 97302 are too good to be true, maybe its because they have a team working to bury their dirt... Here is another reason in my opinion to avoid. Look at the below email I got from them.

''I am on the marketing and social media team at Swanson, Lathen, Prestwich, PC., and I noticed your 1 star review of Rex White on our google page. I am sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with Mr. White. I wanted to let you know that as of January 1, 2019, Rex White is no longer associated with our firm. He still rents space in our building, but has his own firm, phone number, website, etc. Prior to that date, he was considered “of counsel” and not a formal member of our firm.

I wondered if you would consider removing your one-star review from the Swanson, Lathen, Prestwich google listing, as it reflects poorly on our firm, with which Rex is no longer related. It does not appear Rex has his own Google listing, but he has other directory listings (yelp, yahoo, etc.) where a review might be left.

Thank you for your consideration. I appreciate your time.''

Oh okay so now Rex White was only of counsel and not a real partner?

But you had no problem promoting him as one of yours on your website, and profiting off of his actions correct? BTW wasn't his mother answering your phones? Is she still working for you guys? Is she an employee or is she just of some type of counsel too?

Also, you never conducted an independent investigation to all the people harmed by him while he was ''of your counsel'' to make things right with them or to help expose the people who helped Rex get away with his actions for so long. But now you want his victims to remove the online accounts of what took place under your reviews is that correct?

I feel sorry for anyone that ends up in these peoples hands looking for help or protection. I really do.

Their lawyer at the time said he would take my case, left me in limbo, then abandoned me, this motivated me to study law and win on my own, the bad news there was nothing I that would make suing them worthwhile because I ended up doing such a great job on my own thus there is no real damages to sue for. That said I recommend avoiding them, if it's too late to avoid them I recommend demanding that you record all interactions with them both over the phone and in person.
