I suffer from a broken neck surgery gone wrong. They crushed my spinal cord between C6 and C7. As well as a brain tumor which was removed leaving me with seizures. If the weather changed or I was jolted I ached and hurt. I tried to manage the pain and even ignore it. It only wore me down and made me snap at my family. Who can be happy when your pain builds and subdues you into desperate frustrated tears.



My wonderful doctor suggested Mid-Valley Pain Clinic. I was worried my body could not take the 2 hour class. But I was wrong. It was amazing! Stretching, deep relaxation, guided handbook which taught a lot. The group of people who they too suffered and were trying to move forward. You do not have to go it alone. Pain may be different for everyone but your not alone here. It was 10 weeks which I miss. I not only stand and salute the wonderful staff here. I know this program should be introduce to EVERYONE! Teach our family members and our friends and co-workers. Knowledge is power and this is where your power begins.
