Dr. Robert S. Is the most RUDE PERSON I have ever met!!!!!!!!! He literally said to me (if you can stop talking for 30 sec) among other Rude comments. We feed raw diet my husband & I did our research before we decided to go raw but like thay say feed your dog not the vet! Apparently his way of dealing with this instead of talking to us like we are intelligent human beings was to talk down to us told us NOT to come back even tho Emily takes care of our older shepherd. He had us leave and told us not to come back. How sad that he is allowed to run business like that! I will be contacting the BBB.This Vet should NOT be in Practice he should retire! Shame on you Robert S! Shame on you! We feed our dogs good healthy food, supplement with Vitamins, lots of fresh water. Good Training, tons of love, exercise! all we wanted was to make sure our girl is doing well in her pregnancy! He treated us horribly! Please do not take your fur baby's or critters of any kind to Hoffman's Veterinary Clinic!

Hoffman Vets have the most knowledgeable people, most happiest people, most caring people, and they are so friendly and flexible it amazes me. We've been going to them with all of our animals for 16+ years and we're very pleased with everything they have done. They will always be our furbabies doctors; they're family.

I had my dog neutered there about 2 years ago. It took a year and my dog was in heat again. I took her back to Hoffman and they asked me if she was in heat. I said that she was supposed to be neutered but it didn't look like she was. She had all the signs of being in heat even bleeding. I saw the vet that said she neutered her and she said that she could have missed a part of her reproductive organ. She said that it is harder to fix a dog that has a bigger chest. Last I checked your ovaries are not in your chest. They told me that it was dangerous to go back in and make sure that nothing was left behind from the previous surgery and that my dog could die. When I told them that they needed to fix the problem they told me that I would have to pay for the surgery again and they would give me a discount. I told them that it was not my responsibility to pay for their mistake. I have changed vets and my current vet said that they have had to go back into a dog to fix them because the dog was so small that they had missed a part of the reproductive organ and they did not pay make the person pay for the procedure to be done again because it was not their fault. My dog is in heat yet again and Hoffman has yet to fix their mistake. I feel as though they ripped me off. Never take your animal there unless you want them to take your money and run.

Oh my word, the BEST vet clinic we have ever had! We're a military family so we move around frequently and have had our fair share of docs for our two dogs but none quite like Hoffmans. They were recommended to us when we started them at Doggy Daycare about a year ago. They have two vets who are very knowledgable- Dr. Shimek figured out exactly what had happened to our littlest one (he got into some mulch without us knowing) and fixed him right up before it became a serious (potentially expensive) problem. I cannot say thank you enough for that! And the staff is just so personable- the receptionists greet me (and my boys) by name, the tech asks about my family and how things are going with whichever pup is up first, and I never go home without two little treats for my two happy guys. I tell everyone I know about Hoffmans and have even made some friends at the dog park that way!

These folks really do care about your pet and how you feel about your best friend

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. As a result of my visit me and my friend will never go here again.The reception staff was utterly clueless. Bumbling even. They forgot to check me in until 15 past my appointment time. Once I did check in they couldn't figure out the reason for my visit. Despite being informed on the phone when I made the appointment and when I filled out the late paper work.Once I finally saw the vet he barely let me get a word in to describe the full list of symptoms with my pet. He basically told me my pet was fine and tried to push some expensive preventative meds on me instead. I had to demand a blood and urine test.Had I listened to him I would not know my pet had diabetes and it would most likely be dead right now. But his faults don't end there! Once I got the diagnosis he again pushed some expensive food on me that after some home research I found out was basically worthless.Every step of my visit I had to struggle to be heard and he pushed some sort of expensive "vet clinic only" items that I "needed". Not a ONE of it was necessary and all of them had cheaper alternatives you can get at pet stores. This man does not care about your animals and will prescribe things that will make him the most money. If he thinks you don't have money he will do his best to push you out the door to make way for the next sucker who does.I will never darken their door again and if you value your pets life and your pocket book you won't either.

Thank you, Dr Murphy, for your compassionate care of my 17 year old toy poodle, Mossimo, through his fight against bone cancer. Also, thank you for the lovely sympathy card in his memory. He was born on 6/1/1995 and went to doggie heaven on 6/16/12. His brother, Rascal, misses him very much.

I took my miniature poodle(in door House pet) for license.They told me to get him vaccinated before the license. They vaccinated hiom and give complete physical withpout my permissuion. When I went to pay they charge me for vaccination and license $141.00.They said i get senior's discount but i never get any discount. What was my discount the [physical ? I never go to him anymore an d would never recommend to anybody

T hank You all for the excellent care of my cat! I have been with you for over 17yrs. I have always had the best of care for my Pug and cat. Today was the day I made the decision to send him to Cat Heaven! You handeled this action with the up most respect! Thank You!

I family has been going to them for over 25 years and they have always taken great care of our vets.

Dr. Shimek is an amazing vet! I would recommend him to all!
