Provided by YP.comI had just returned from a trip in Europe and was missing the fabulous food I was able to experience while there. A friend suggested I take a drive down to Salem (I live in Portland) and try Da Vinci's. I went, not expecting too much, but I was extremely impressed by this restaurant. The ambience was delightful, elegant without being stuffy. Each person in our party got a different entree, so we were able to try several of the dishes- all were superb. The servers were extremely professional and pleasant. The owner even came to our table to check that we were enjoying our evening.
Da Vinci's is one of those destination restaurants- even if you haven't any particular reason to celebrate, the event becomes special by virtue of the food, service and atmosphere. It was well worth the trip from Portland and I look forward to returning to try a few more of the seafood offerings. Bravo, Da Vinci's!
