Godwin Auto Service was established in 1931 by Barney Godwin and in 1946, partners Barney Godwin and Johnny Singer incorporated Godwin Singer Machine Shop. In 1982, the pair sold their shop to senior employees, Steve Trimm and Richard Spencer, each with 26 years at Godwin Singer. Richard retired in 1998 and Steve is now sole owner. Godwin & Singer is the oldest Machine Shop in the Tampa Bay area and the Best. Our staff represents 150 years of experience and training, and combined with cutting edge technology and state of the art equipment, we offer quality, service, and customer satifaction that stands head and shoulders above the rest.
