Hi Kathy H. You are the best. What a great experience we had with you. I think you were just as excited as we were. The bridal dress that you helped us find is absolutely stunning. Also the dress you found for me with matching earrings is beautiful. Love it. They had my size in KC. My dress and yours (lol!). Need more stylist like you. I can tell you love your job. Thanks! To you and Theresa!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
The lady who helped me pick out my dress was great, but every experience I have had with them after has been beyond frustrating. First, the store is disgusting...old green carpet, marks on the walls, banged up doors, etc. Second, I went in to order shoes from them...they had to order me new ones from the factory as they were out of my size. They told me it would only be 7-10 business days and that they would ship to my house. The shoes took 6 WEEKS and were delivered to the STORE! I got an email saying I had 7 days to come pick them up...ridiculous. Third, the day I picked out and PAID for my dress, I ordered EVERYTHING that needed to come with it (slip, bra, veil, and bridesmaids dresses). Paid for EVERYTHING. My mother-in-law went in to pick up the bridesmaids dresses when they were ready, had her sign saying she picked them up. Apparently, it was listed on the form that she was also picking up the veil, slip, and bra....THEY NEVER GAVE THEM TO US. We are now trying to explain and work something out with them and they told us we would have to re-order EVERYTHING....my veil was almost $200!!! UNBELIEVABLE. Then, I went in for alterations....$200 additional for alterations after spending over $1,000 in their store already! I am FURIOUS. Might I add, the ONLY alterations my dress needed was to tighten the straps and raise the dress 1/2 inch off the floor. OH and they are also charging us $25 to remove a sash that I ORDERED the dress to come without in the first place..... I have never had such a bad experience!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. This experience has added so much stress and frustration to what should be a happy time in my life. Incredibly disappointed.

Diane was amazing! I wasn't sure what I was looking for an address for my special day. Diane took her time to get to know my personality and my personal journey, and she helped me find the perfect dress! I am so grateful for the service she provided.

Absolutely freakin' horrible! ...

Absolutely freakin' horrible! Everytime you call you get put on hold for several minutes. When you arrive at the store with an appointment, they make you wait. We actually had an appointment but when a group of 10 ladies walked in with no appointment, we were left waiting. They are so understaffed that if you don't bring anyone then you will wait at least 20 minutes before the lady ever zips you up just so you can walk out onto the floor and look in the mirror. Everytime I have been there we have picked our dresses and done everything without the aid of a consultant. The floors are filthy, they have straight pins scattered throughout the whole store which is just fabulous considering you are barefoot. Now about the alterations department... I go in and get fitted, the lady hangs the dress up and some pins fall out, I kid you not she just randomly shoves them in. When the dress gets finished and I go in, the hem looks like my 4 year old flowergirl cut it! To top it off they ruined the bustle. The manager said that she noticed the dress was messed up when she hung it up but then she argued saying that the dress wasn't messed up and that I was wrong! Seriously after paying almost one thousand dollars for the dress and alterations it had better be done right. The dress was a complete disaster so they had to reorder it. As I type this, my dress has still not come back in. We even had to send the bridesmaids dresses to Columbia DB because St. Peter's is so ignorant! The only reason we went there is because they had a bigger selection of plus size dresses then the other smaller stores have as we live in a rural area. If it could this would have zero stars!

Worst David's Bridal EVERY!!!!

The girl at the front desk brushed me off like she was too busy to help me or even thought I that I didn't have an appointment. Which I did and was early for! One of the alterations ladies assumed that I was exchanging my dress for BIGGER size and announced it in front of other customers, and she looked to be a size 24! And another alterations Lady suggested that my dress was too tight, once again in front of other customers! Needless to say, no one got SLAPPED and I still exchanged my dress, for a smaller size! BUT will never, ever go there again and I'm going to tell everyone I know NEVER, EVER shop there! #@%$^*

Just OK

I went in having no clue what kind of dress I wanted. When I got there the to check the person at the desk was busy with another bride, which is fine understandable. It would have been nice if she acknowleged me waiting it was very ackward. The consultant they assigned me to that I made an appoitment with was working with another bride while trying to help me. Again that would have been fine if I wasn’t left waiting for dresses or coming out of the dressing room with no assistance. When I tried to describe what style I was leaning towards I was told you just need to look at the magazine and pick what I like.I asked if we could walk around and pick dresses out? She said we could but wouldn’t recommend that. I told her several times it's hard to look a magazine to see what you like, you can't really see what the dress look like. She then told me I can always look online?! No thanks. I pretended to like two dresses and left. I'm not looking for 5 star service, just someone who will work with me and show me options and ideas.

Don't go to David's Bridal

I bought my wedding dress from there. The top and bottom of the dress I knew would have to be taken in but they insisted the body would have to be as well even thouh I said it fit just fine. So when I went in for the fitting after alterations the dress was so tight I could not breath and was very uncomfortable. They had to alter the dress again. Then when I went in for another fitting, which was 2 weeks before my wedding, I was waiting for my mom and the lady helping me kept asking me several times if everything was ok and if I needed her to help take the dress off. I explained to her about 5 times that I wanted to wait for my mom so she could take a look and make sure everything was alright. When my mom got there she noticed right away 4 big holes in the back of the dress in the netting where I couldn't see. The lady helping first tried to say that I must have done it and I argued there was no way for me to put holes in a dress when all I was doing was sitting and waiting. Then her and a manager said they had no idea how those holes could have been made. So I had to get a brand new dress and start from scratch. So less than a week before my wedding I went it for the final fitting and the dress was ok but didn't fit quite as well as the dress that had the holes. I talked to the store manager, her supervisor and their supervisor and on up and explained all the problems I had and the only thing they offered me was to take $40 off for the alterations they made a mistake on in the beginning. The upper management were so rude, snotty and unprofessional I could not believe. I spent over $800 there and had to worry if I would even have a dress less than a week before my wedding and they give me a measley $40 off for their mistake. Thankfully we found the bridemaids dresses at a smaller boutique and didn't have any problems. I reccommend the smaller boutiqes they have much much much better customer service and it's more personalized.

Terrible Ignorant People

Went in to look at dresses one day, yes without an appt, but none the less girls that came in AFTER me with NO appointments were helped before me. They are understaffed, undereducated and just plain ignorant. All of their dresses are "knock off's" of the real things. They are cheaply made but cost just as much as designer. I suggest going to a smaller shop, such as one right up the street on Mid Rivers or out to 94 to the Wedding gallery. Yes, they are smaller, but they value you and your business MUCH MUCH more than this stupid place. These stores are too full, rushed and have NO clue as to the meaning of customer service! Please save your time...go somewhere else! Maybe another location is better...I doubt it tho. I dont think you can go into Davids and even look at a dress without giving them DNA or something, lol. Its ridiculous! What bride wants to go thru that? I have yet to hear a good story come from a bride going to David's.

Horrible Experience

Ordered my wedding dress from there and when it was supposed to come in 3 months later I called to check on it and IT WAS NEVER ORDERED. I talked to a couple of other brides and they have had the same issues. Didn't even seem like they really even cared. I couldn't get a phone call back from a manager so I had to go in there. After I told that manager to have the head manager call me she called me a couple days later and was like "ya we ordered your dress what else can we do for you?" So we went round and round on the phone and she continuously asked me WHY I WANTED MY DRESS SO SOON MY WEDDING DATE WASN'T UNTIL MAY 2, 2009!!! I'm like BECAUSE I PAID FOR IT...quit asking me questions!!!!!!! It doesn't matter if I ordered a pair of shoes I paid for it and its not here. We went round like this for about 10 mins when I finally told her that her company was a piece of crap and her employee's and I wanted to cancel my dress. Thats when my dress came in 2 weeks later after they ordered it the SECOND time which is super strange. The manager that I went round with left me this snotty voicemail saying that my dress was in WELL UNDER THE 3 MONTH MARK. ummmm NO...Its under the 3 month mark of ordering it the SECOND TIME!!! Don't go to this place its a freaking NIGHTMARE. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!!! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER GETTING YOUR MONEY!!!! We even talked to the regional manager and she just boasted about how great that manager was. DON'T GO TO DAVID'S BRIDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
