I highly recommend WDC for anyone with a love of dance! Between the quality dance instruction and the warm, welcoming environment of the studio, I don't see any part of this fantastic dance studio not to love! WDC has programs to fit every dancer's needs. There are different levels of recreational dance for all ages (from two years old to adults), competition lines for ages 4 to 18, "Mommy & Me" classes for young children and their mothers to experience together, and adaptive classes for dancers with special needs. They offer different difficulty levels for recreational classes to find the perfect fit for any dancer, as well as pretty much any dance style! Rec. classes are offered in creative movement, tap/ballet, tap/jazz/lyrical, lyrical, hip hop, the list goes on and on. Even competition dancers have various options: tap/jazz/ballet/lyrical, hip hop, or Pom (a cheer/jazz style dance that is a great intro to competition). This dance center has inspired me! It has boosted not only my knowledge in dance, but my confidence, energy and even social skills. The many relationships and memories I've made with my fellow dancers, my teachers, and my students (I am lucky enough to be a teacher assistant to a wonderful group of girls) will last me forever. I just have to mention once again that this warm and welcoming studio has become my second home! The wonderful staff (not just the teachers, but the front desk and boutique staff, too) are kind, helpful and dedicated. They truly care about each and every dancer. The dance instruction is amazing quality, whether you want to push yourself or just enjoy a fun class, and all the competition teams consist of astonishing dancers because of the quality instruction provided. Thank you, WDC. Everything you have provided me with has been top quality, fun, and remarkable. I would HIGHLY recommend WDC to anyone!

Our daughter has been dancing with this studio for 9 years now. They have taught her so much we don't even know where to begin. The teachers are great! You can can talk to them about how your child is doing and they will give you honest feed back. There is so many thing your child can pick from. Such as tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, point ballet and hip hop. They also provide fun summer camps that even include theater and gymnastics. Your child can do recreational dance or if they are really into it they can do competitive dance where they get to travel all over. There is a price range for every type of family. I just have to say that is why we rate it as the best dance studio in Woodbury MN!!

Our children have been with Woodbury Dance Center (WDC) since 2001, our son started at 3 years of age and our daughter at two. The center has various opportunities for all children based on their likes and abilities. WDC has sucessfully created a fun friendly family environment where children are taught to take direction, work together and have fun in the process. WDC certainly has exceeded our expectations and our children couldn’t be happier. We look forward to the years of dance ahead of us at WDC, and would like to thank the owners “Kathy and Buffy” for providing such a family oriented center with excellent opportunities for all children.

I danced here from preschool until I graduated high school - overall a wonderful experience! I would reccomend this studio to everyone! My only advice is to avoid classes instructed by Mary; she tends to be overly critical and demeaning.

Woodbury is a good studio. We danced there for a year after our local studio closed. The problem that we felt with the studio and which caused us to switch to a studio in Oakdale was that they were so large that we didn't feel like they knew who we were. They have many students so it all depends on what you are looking for.
