Too bad I didn’t take the time to read the reviews before booking with SUBURBAN GREEN & WHITE TAXI – capital letters because I want to make sure anyone reading this review will recognize the name and absolutely never use this service. I’ll make a long story short. I made reservation for a wheelchair accessible van to pick up my 95-year old mother who is wheelchair bound (obviously). The pickup time was 10:00a. We were ready and waiting. No cab. I called Green & White at about 10:10a to ask what the status of our ride was. The first person I spoke with seemed to be unable to find my reservation. Then I repeated that the reservation was for a wheelchair accessible van – and she proceeded to transfer me to another person with whom I started the whole conversation over again. And . . . the result “Sorry. We don’t have anyone available.” Of course I mentioned that I had made a reservation, and again the person just said there would be no cab available. The person then asked if the wheelchair was collapsible and could fit in a regular cab. I told him of course the wheelchair was collapsible, but the whole reason for requesting a wheelchair van was because the passenger was unable to get out of her wheelchair! Duh. Given I had no alternatives to getting my mother where we needed to go, and this was not just for a joy ride, I was pretty insistent that they find a van, either with their company or another, and I would stay on the line until they did. The person I was talking to asked if I really wanted to stay on hold, and I said that of course I did, because I knew he would never call me back. Well, I stayed on hold for about 35 minutes, only to have him finally come back on line to say, “Sorry, can’t help you.” I was livid. Apparently no shows are the norm with this company, but one would think they would realize that if someone needed a wheelchair van, perhaps they would make a little more effort to should show up as other options are limited. . . or, in my case, non-existent. I asked to speak to a supervisor … “Sorry, but no supervisor is here until Monday.” (This was Saturday morning.) I asked for the name of the person who supposedly took my reservation and was told he couldn’t share that information. He said he could file a customer complaint form and his supervisor would follow up with me on what happened. Ha! Fat chance! Under no circumstances should anyone even think about using this company. A one-star rating is way too generous.

This is a terrible service, the cab never came even though they kept telling me it was on its way. I had to find transportation elsewhere and will NEVER call them again.

Never ever use them-Poor performance and rude behavior.

I had very bad experience with this taxi. 45 minutes late and when I called they constantly gave different waiting time and were very rude and insensitive. finally I had to look for help from local person to avoid missing my Shuttle

On Time,Safe

Green and White sends time calls out more than 15 minutes early to be sure to be on time. Drivers must go through a week of test checks and training before they drive. Even if coming from a company with 20 years experience. The priority is to take care of the customer. I would send them to pick up someone and it has always gone well.

Never again

I have used this company a few times because I did not know of other ones. The drivers always showed up on time, but never knew the destination, and I had to guide them the entire way there each time. There was only one exception, one driver, Ron Hill, was on time and knew how to get there directly.

ugh!

same thing happened to me.....we called a cab and they said it'd be 20 minutes....after calling them repeatedly the cab finally showed up an hour or more later

cab ride

The driver was on time to the minute and had a great ride. He was a very careful driver and had a safe ride.

Suburban taxi

I ordered the ride a day ahead and they were right on time to the minute. The driver was very nice and was a very safe driver.

Best in the Twin Cities

I was so sorry to read the disabled gentleman's review because I've always had excellent service from this company. The vehicles are clean and fresh-smelling the drivers are polite and they make every effort to get to you within twenty minutes.

Waiting in the COLD !!!

I am a guy who is wheelchair.. waiting in the cold for a Taxi. and the taxi NEVER SHOW UP :(

Bad service

I called for a cab and i called again for a cab and almost 2 hours later still no cab. I will never call this company again!
