Midwest Sound sent us DJ Rheo Johansen. He contacted me the week of and really put me at ease and even put up with my bridezilla moment (THANK YOU RHEO) without a doubt he is a professional! Long story short we wanted our guests to have a wonderful night celebrating with us and it was EPIC! If you want the best go with Midwest Sound!!!!!

Midwest Sound sent us DJ Rheo Johansen and he kept our dance floor PACKED all night! He was all about our music tastes and reading the crowd. We'll recommend him to anyone.

Midwest Sound was at our wedding. Dar was really cool & a great dj. The night was perfect. Thanks guys!

Never again will I recommend this dj company. Very cheezy dj set up. I went on a budget with my dj and only could afford a $600 dj. Man, I should have just spent a little more time in resarching dj companies. 325 guests so as you can see the food ate up most of the budget. But back to the dj, with over 300 guests this dj set up sound like GARBAGE, 2 speakers on poles on 2 cop lights, My home theater sounded better then that, and to boot the dj forgot to do the bouquet and garter toss...lack of expierence or maybe he could read,, because it clearly said the we wanted to do that. If i had to do it all over again I would have picked a different dj company..these guys are cheese balls!!

We found Midwest Sound at The TCBA and booked on-line and they made the whole process easy as can be and took plastic:) Anyway we've been to a bunch of friends weddings in the past and I don't mean to be mean but their DJs were either rude or dweebs. I guess I thought all DJs were like that until our DJ from Midwest Sound called me the Monday before my wedding and put me at ease. I swear to God the DJ made my reception a PARTY that my husband and I and all of our friends and family will never forget. Our dance floor was packed all night and my feet were sore the first day of our honeymoon:) Oh make sure you request DJ Rheo Johansen!!!!!

My experience with Midwest Sound was great from the start! Hart was very helpful in getting an affordable price, and was very courteous. I was amazed at our DJ and how well my wedding night just flowed, I can't thank the staff at Midwest Sound enough for how well my evening went. I'm still getting compliments and watching videos from the dance, we could not get off the dance floor all night!! My grandparents also complimented the DJ. My 83-year old grandfather was dancing to Usher at 11:30, this just never happens! I am recommending you to all my friends and cousins who are getting married next year, and my Maid of Honor is also using Midwest Sound. She got a great price too.

I felt like Midwest Sound really took care of us from start to finish. Our dj Steve was awesome! :) and the songs we asked for ahead of time got played. Everybody danced till the last song. Thanks guys you helped make our night!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! The company was great at the start but the DJ provided as HORRIBLE! I could have done a better job myself. It was a cheap price only because we didn't have our wedding during the busy season. But, cheaper doesn't mean better obviously considering we were very unhappy with the whole evening. I'm sure some of the DJ's are great but ours was not. He didn't even play the songs that I requested ahead of time and I was the bride! He had two songs starting almost every time a new song was supposed to start. He didn't interact with the crowd at all and encourage more people to dance.

Midwest Sound did a wonderful job in making our wedding reception rock!!! Our DJ made sure everyone had fun and that it was a memorable time for us. I would highly recommend them to my friends!

We had dj Nate at our reception and he really took care of us. He did songs and microphones for our ceremony, then played for our dance. Oh my god we had SO MUCH FUN!!! 8)He did a great job of playing to us and our group- i will never forget how wonderful our big day was, and our Midwest Sound dj was with us all the way. If you're looking for an experienced wedding dj in Minnesota def give these guys a call.
