Homeowner hired MF Fleischhacker to remove an existing asphalt driveway with concrete sidewalk and replace them with new concrete. Dave F. provided an analysis of existing water drainage issues, provided cost estimates, and worked with us on scheduling. The new concrete driveway is three garage stalls wide plus a sidewalk. All work was completed over two consecutive days (including demolition, fill removal/rework, forming, pouring, and clean-up). Results were professional, on-time, on-budget, with excellent quality. I’ve received many positive comments from others on the short construction timeframe, professional workmanship, and “great looking results”.

We have had a significant frost heaving problem with our driveway and apron for 30 years. Several attempts to solve the problem have failed.Dave Fleischhacker thoroughly studied our situation to understand our problem and proposed a comprehensive solution. I knew after hearing Dave's analysis and solution that he had a far better handle on our problem and what to do about it than anyone else I had talked to. The solution involved removing the unsuitable base down to below the frost line, tiling the base, refilling with a stable class 5 aggregate base, thoroughly compacting the new base and adding a layer of 2" styrofoam just below the 5" reinforced concrete driveway.Dave and his crew (Ryan and Marcus) kept us well informed about what they were doing and what to expect. Dave, Ryan and Marcus were all very professional and meticulous in their attention to detail. They left the job site in better shape after they were done than it had been before they started.We have now been through one winter season with our new driveway and we have not had even a fraction of an inch of heaving or cracking anywhere.I highly recommend M F Fleischhacker, Inc concrete and masonry. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Townhouse association hired M F Fleischhacker to remove garage aprons, repair deteriorated foundation blocks, and pour new aprons. Fleischhacker does on-site analysis of problems, provides estimates, works with us to schedule project. Have used them several years, and will use them in the future.
