HORRIBLE! DON'T GO!

HORRIBLE! I've stopped in over a few years and never really had a problem... Mediocre service and shopping experience. Here is my most recent experience:



1) Asked if they had crib mobiles. Was told "No, only included in bedding sets." by a bored teenage salesperson. What did I find while walking around? Crib mobiles sold seperately.



2) Bought a diaper bag 10% off. Got home and realized it was missing a strap. Returned to the store to return it. A salesperson said she could just give me a strap from another bag. Got home. The strap didn't work on the bag. Called. Another employee said she didn't know why that other lady did that. Now they would have to call the company that makes the bag (like its my fault). She said I can't return the bag. I absolutely said I wanted too. Return to the store. They let me return it. Thank God.



3) I don't know why but I chose to order a stroller from this company. A very expensive one but I was planning to replace a previous less expensive one I purchase from Baby Grand two years before. WELL... Online, it said the color was Quartz. Later when I check the website it said the color was Sand. I called the Hopkins store to check the order and the employee was rude and seemed like I was inconviencing him by confirming the purchase. A $600 purchase....



They call me when it got to the Grand Ave store. The employee asked if I wanted to pick it up or have them drop it off ??? If I wanted them to take it out of the box and set it up. I said no. I would pick it up too. Another call, she says they will be dropping it off. I found this strange. Why isn't UPS dropping it off? Maybe they had a truck? NO. They dropped it off at 8pm!!!!!! At my house. From their car. Seriously?



Ok. I'm excited. I open it up. Try the car seat adaptor for our carseat. Check out the stroller. Bad idea I guess. We decided not to take the stroller... But what I didn't realize was that I could not return a $600 stroller once I opened it. It is now considered "used". REALLY? How am I supposed to see if it would work for us? We did not like the style or location of the break on this stroller and wanted our money back. Simple as that. I would NOT have purchased a stroller had I known you couldn't return it after just taking off the plastic! We had it for less then 5 days. Crazy. The transaction is still pending. When my husband went in to the Grand Ave location to speak to them about this he walked in on the employees talking about me and te conversation I had with the manager. Rude. Inconsiderate people. The worst service I have ever EVER had.



I will NEVER go back.

Really Everything Best for Baby

I recently went into Baby Grand St. Paul and had a fantastic experience! The staff was very knowledgeable about cribs and matching pieces to make my nursery so special! Picking out all the custom bedding for my child's bed was great with all the fabric I had to choose from and all the different options I had. They were very helpful when it came to strollers showing me and my husband all the different options whether it be a jogger or a simple stroller for my everyday use. I will definitely be recommending all my friends head into Baby Grand!
