I had contacted the Account Specialist at West County Radiology her name was Amanda to discuss some outrageously large bills that I had received. Amanda the Account Specialist was very unprofessional and nasty. When I asked for her job title she said,"why do you want to know." This women behaved as if she was a child on a power trip. When I told her about my situation and the outrageous bill that their company forced upon me, she told me she has had the same experience in life as me, and that she has 3 kids of her own and she does it all on her own and she still takes care of her bills. I believe she was trying to imply for me to man up I guess and just pay something that I felt I did not owe. Well Amanda, I pay my bills and the only delinquent account I have on my credit report is this outrageous bill, that I refuse to pay. You are wrong for your behavior and the way you represent your company. I can guarantee that If you received a bill for $2000.00 that you felt was unjust and forced upon you would have the same, if not worse (based on your nasty attitude) apprehension to pay the bill. Where is your decency when you deal with a person, remember that life is not about a commission or a bonus. I pay my bills, I do not pay thieves just because they hold my credit at ransom. This bill will get resolved, and I will make sure that you get the notoriety you seek.

Go somewhere else! I had a $50 bill that was set aside for a month. I ended up having to pay $100 to collections! Give me a break! Don't do it!

Avoid this practice because of their billing department!!! Over 5 years I have had to deal with them and they have been nothing but rude. I have even gotten my insurance company on a 3 way call to straighten out one bill for $5.00. They do not honor what my secondary insurance says I should pay until I have the secondary insurance call them. They are the "only" group that reads for Mercy. This is very sad and I am contacting Mercy and filing a complaint with them about the abuse that the billing department tries to get away with at West County. The billing people are rude and hateful and don't honor what insurance companies post on EOBs.

They worked with me to set up a payment plan AFTER giving me a reduction in the amount due because I have no insurance. They are very helpful in explaining why I got two bills, which I did not understand at first. I am not sure what happened with the other reviews. I think you usually only get the people who are angry about having to pay their bills write them. In any case, THANK YOU West County Radiology.

Whatever it takes....avoid. The billing and customer service is horrific. Don't let your Dr. force you to use them.
