As I searched for a church, this one stood out to me because of their strong missions program and excellent music ministry. UUMC is involved in ministering to the needs of the U. City and St. Louis communities as well as the world at large. (It has an after-school program for low income neighborhood kids and a partner church in Mozambique, among other things.) This is definitely not a "Sundays-only" church. Worship is vibrant, and it's only the beginning. There are social as well as spiritual gatherings. What an amazing community of people; I am so glad I found them!
