This U-Haul Storage Center gets an A+++ in customer service. I originally made a reservation to use the storage center literally up the street, but I arrived and saw the HORRIBLE storage facility setup, so they referred me to this U-Haul Storage.



Once I got there the co-owner immediately helped me. Even though I didn't have a reservation she gave me a discounted price (probably helped that I had rented a truck from them earlier in the day) and I was able to move my stuff in right away.



About a month later, they gave me a late fee on my payment, but I called them because I was under the impression that I was on automatic bill pay with my credit card. They took off the fee, no questions asked.



Later, I had movers come to take my things out of my storage and bring it to my new city, and they made it VERY EASY. All I had to do was write them a letter, send the key, and it was done.



I think businesses have the potential to make transactions very Easy or very HARD. They made it easy as it could possibly be.



If I ever lived in Saint Louis again and needed storage, I'd go here.

My renting experience at this location had some bumps. First, I checked on-line and saw the price for the rental. I decided to call and speak to the location directly to make the reservation and much to my surprise the price quoted was 20 percent higher. So, I hung up, went back on line and made the cheaper reservation, all the while thinking that was a very poor business model. The other hassle was that I had to schedule the pickup down to the hour, which was difficult. (we were moving from an apartment location and there was no where to park a U-haul for an extended time & we had no idea how long it would take us to pack everything up.) The service at the u-haul location made it quite clear that the personnel are in no hurry and access to this location is not good when traffic is heavy. I will look for other locations before I rent here again.
