Dr. Wexler is the most unprofessional person you will meet. That is if you get to meet him. Four cancellations later I finally did. After 5 minutes i walked out. I own medical practices and wouldnt let this guy park cars.

The most unprofessional medica...

The most unprofessional medical group I have ever encountered! My husband got his eye lasered. When we got there, the medical staff was told no less than 3 times that I DID NOT want to watch his procedure. My husband's name was called and I was told to go with him. During the short consultation with Dr. Wexler, my husband introduced me as his wife and Dr. Wexler said to him 'No, she's just the driver'. I was very offended and that's exactly how I was treated, just the driver. As my husband was escorted to the room to have his eyes lasered, I was shown a small waiting room with large screen TV in it and was told to wait there. A few minutes later, there was the close up of my husband's eye on the TV! I looked for the staff, but did not see anyone. I looked for the remote control and did not see that either. All I could do is sit there with my eyes closed. So, do not take anyone with you that does not want to see your eye the size of a basketball get cut and lasered. The only reason I gave them 1 star is that they didn't blind my husband. I would not recommend Dr. Wexler nor his staff to anyone! Go to Clarkson Eye Care. They are way cheaper with the exact same results.

I wanted laser eye surgery for...

I wanted laser eye surgery for as long as I could remember. I did alot of research including calling every local eye doctor's office I could find to see who they refer their patients to and they all said the same doctor - Dr. Wexler at TLC Laser Eye Centers. The process was painless to me and it was pretty neat to have my husband be able to watch from a tv in another room as the surgery was performed. It took less than 30 minutes and Dr. Wexler explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. It has been around 6-7 years since I had the surgery and I still maintain perfect 20/20 vision it's pretty amazing! I have Never had an issue with my eyes since the surgery and it's wonderful not having to purchase contact lenses anymore. TLC also has a lifetime warranty in case the surgery ever has to be touched up (thankfully mine never has). I live in Illinois and the hour drive to get to TLC was absolutely worth it!
