Earlier this month Sewerpro conducted a sewer lateral inspection for the buyers of our house. When we cam home that evening we noticed there as a puddle of water by the access tee. We have lived there for 10 yrs and never did we have one once of water in that area or the entire basement. In further inspection we noticed the tee had a huge and long crack in it. This could ONLY have been caused by the inspector. Our listing agent contacted them and they said there must have been a crack already. There is NO WAY they would have known there was a crack already and PVC does not instantaneously crack without some external force on it. We contact a plumber and they want $125-$225 to repair the access tee. As there was never any water there (the inspector did not note there was at the time of his inspection thus if there was a crack water would have been on the floor), I except Sewerpro to pay the cost of the entire repair.
