Since 1979, The Magic House has strived to fulfill its mission of providing children with quality educational experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity and the development of problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy and magic.  The exhibits at The Magic House are designed to captivate, educate and entertain visitors of all ages.

Starting with infants and their special grown-ups in For Baby & Me, visitors can enjoy a toddler-sized space where nursery rhymes spring to life in tugboats and tiny houses. Preschoolers can perform puppet shows or explore a texture-tunnel in A Little Bit of Magic, a world just their size. Around the Museum, visitors of all ages can uncover the past at the Lewis and Clark Trail, or climb a three-story beanstalk up to the clouds. Discover the three branches of government in the Star-Spangled Center while singing patriotic karaoke and sitting in the Oval Office. Create a masterpiece in the Art Studio, or investigate the clues to solve The Magic House art-heist mystery! Hands-on activities line the walls to inspire every learner!

We went here yesterday. It was very very busy but never crowded. Both of my girls (5yo & 8mo) had a lot of fun. We ate lunch on the patio after ordering from The Picnic Basket Cafe located inside The Magic House. It was delicious. Definitely a must stop place for future trips.
