I've been going there all my life in St. Louis for 65 yrs. Always got our Christmas trees there since I was able to walk. We always got a concrete to eat on the way home, No matter how cold it was. Some times below zero. And always after a ball game in the summer. Or a play at the theater. The custard is so great. Now there are many imitators, Some good, Some bad. But not the same. The crowds by the hundreds on a hot night in the summer will tell you how good it is. They have a great staff of kids that put a lot of frozen custard out those many windows in a night. You won't need to wait long. Ted & Dottie Drew have made a name for themselves in St. Louis that will never be forgotten. Please give them a try if your new to St. Louis. The menu is full of new & indescribable treats that you'll change your mind again & again as to what you want to order this time around. Then give your reviews of Ted Drewes. I'm sure you'll agree, BEST IN ST. LOUIS !

The first time I came to St Louis for work a man on the airplane told me that I had to try the custard at Ted Drewes. So glad I did, it's amazing! I've never had anything so good! I love the peach & marshmallow. It's worth the wait even when the line is long, you won't regret it.

When the weather's nice, there's nothing better to do in St. Louis than to go to Ted Drewe's frozen custard. St. Louis is not generally known for it's frozen custard, but this is some of the best stuff in the area.

My suggestion: the Big Apple - a warm apple pie slice added to your frozen custard. Amazing.

This is a Saint Louis tradition that you have to experience! The lines are long, it is 100+ degrees in the August heat, but we stand there patiently waiting for the yummy custard goodness that is the concrete. Oreo for me please

Best Frozen Custard ever. I usually get a Blue Berry custard, they always load it with tons of berries.

This was a decent place but we've had better. If you're ever in Springfield check out Andy's Frozen Custard. It's da bomb. Ted's satisfied our cravings. If we're ever back in St. Louis we'll probably look for something else.

As good as its reputation. Standing in line in the summer is an event in and of itself. Mouth watering frozen custard, hustling polite staff, fun people watching.

Ted Drewes is a St. Louis landmark. You can get the absolute best concrete here... for those who don't know what a concrete is, let me explain: think of your favorite ice cream toppings, mix them with frozen custard, and you've got a concrete. My all time favorite is a banana, strawberry & chocolate concrete. YUMMMM!!!

There is no better concrete in the entire world. Long lines in summer are quickly serviced. Flavors to numerous to mention.
