Provided by YP.comMy daughter has been going for a couples months now. I love how they teach more then just gymnastics. My daughter is learning how to be a better person for her community too. They have lessons every month and come home with a paper to help them understand that lesson. Last month they learned about responsibly and this month is about respect.
I have noticed they do not skip steps with teaching. When my daughter joined she was a hot mess. They took the time to correct her in everything. They do not move on till it's done right. If you come and watch you will see all instructors help each other out when needed. If a group doesn't understand what to do and a club team member can show them they will pull a team member to help demonstrate.
My shy child loves going every week and her coach is amazing with her.

Provided by YP.comMy son is in the ninja program, and my daughter is in the tumbling program. They are learning so much and really look forward to class. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Provided by YP.comCommunicate and coaching is very inconsistent. Our daughter never had a consistent coach for the 3 1/2 years of training she attended to give a true evaluation of her skills. It took coaches each week about 20 minutes out of 55 minutes of class to get the class organized before they started the training. I don't recommend Spirits unless you just want to learn how to do a cart wheel.

- Facility and Equipment The Spirits' facility is one of the newest (June 1996) and best in Missouri devoted to the sport of gymnastics. Our building is 'wide span' which means there are no interior poles to interfere with our activities. This also provides extra safety. We have 24 tons of air conditioning, which keeps us cool even on the hottest of days. We have high ceilings, white walls, and exceptionally good lighting, which keeps our area bright. The facility was designed with two well-placed observation areas for parents. There is also a private room for preschool classes to increase safety and help avoid distractions for our young gymnasts. Our equipment is also top of the line. We have made trampoline more effective and safer by installing two in-ground trampolines. We also have an in-ground loose foam safety pit which is fun for beginners and a great training advantage for our advanced students. Our equipment includes two vaults, five sets of bars, six beams, a sep arate tumbling strip and full 42-foot by 42-foot spring floor exercise mat.
