Dan Biel was given $4300 cash to remove a rock wall and power wash my house and he had only power washed the front of it and there was still mold left on the front and then he tried to tell me that he did all sides and there are obvious areas that you can see and wipe off with your hand. The rock wall was jack hammered up and left in my back yard along with all the ruts that were left in my yard. He did not HAUL anything away but left me with a big mess to pay someone else to fix and clean up! He has yet to make any contact with me to fix the situation or give me my money back.

I contacted Dan Biel, Owner of SpeedAway Hauling, LLC. to fix a leak in my basement. Dan Biel came out with one employee to repair the issue. Two to three days following the repair, I took notice that the issue was not resolved. Upon this discovery, I contacted Dan Biel of Speed Away Hauling on April 18th. Dan Biel did not answer nor respond to my calls for several days. Once Dan Biel did respond he expressed that he would "make it right".



April 22nd was when Dan Biel finally got back to me and had an excuse as to why he could not make the appointment. The excuses continued on April 23rd and April 25th. On April 28th Dan Biel of SpeedAway Hauling said that he would be out on May 1st. May 1st came around and Dan had yet another excuse as to why he was not present. On May 8th Dan told me he would be out on May 10th. May 10th Dan did not appear.



On May 10th Dan Biel texted me that I had to wait until Monday, May 13th. After waiting on Dan Biel of Speed Away Hauling for nearly 3 weeks I found this unacceptable. Dan then gave me 2 options: #1, deal with Monday May 13th or #2 pursue him in Small Claims Court.



In the process of Dan Biel and his multitude of excuses, I contacted another contractor who informed me that I was overcharged by a minimum of $150 and that the material Dan Biel utilized for this basement job was actually roofing tar!



I'm doing all I can to rectify this unfortunate situation for myself as well as forewarn the local community of my experience and to be advised of the character, integrity, professionalism and sub standard workmanship of Dan Biel and his company Speed Away Hauling, LLC. Regardless if Dan Biel of SpeedAway Hauling were to follow through with his many unfulfilled promises to "make it right" and/or refund me of my hard earned $950 I'd refrain from Dan Biel, owner & operator of Speed Away Hauling doing any job "too big or too small" for he cannot be trusted.



Dan Biel of SpeedAway Hauling promised for over 2 weeks that he'd "make it right". On several occasions he had excuse after excuse as to why he could'nt show up for his own job. I've no faith in Dan nor his company Speed Away Hauling, LLC. The only way Dan can "make it right" is to refund my cash of $950 for labor & materials. I've proof of my payment via his text however he's yet to provide a receipt nor paperwork of his "lifetime guarantee" conveniently.
