The hotel is on the waterfront - which should be a good thing, except that it is surrounded, literally, by blocked and closed streets due to massive construction in the area. The evening staff had no idea how to direct me through the maze of closed and one-way streets, and it took me 45 minutes from the time I saw the hotel to the time I actually pulled in the parking lot - even the security guard for the casino being constructed next door had no idea how to get me there. I had to pull an illegal U-turn on the M. L. King bridge to get onto the appropriate street. In addition, the parking lot looks like an invitation to burglary. The room is fairly comfortable, if very basic, but I do not anticipate a restful night.
