My wife and I had a great experience dealing with Regency-Superior. I've read the reviews here, and I am quite surprised with the negative perceptions. This company (and staff) is a very busy int'l firm. We brought in our collection that we inherited from my aunt. We were quite surprised on how quickly they looked at my material. But, they explained that they've been doing this for 20+ years, and know what to look for. They gave me a conservative, verbal appraisal. We were told what was good, and what wasn't. We dealt with the owner, David Kols, who provided us with a wealth of information and resources. Yes, he's a fast-talking guy - but, he didn't sugar-coat anything. We signed a contract, and consigned the stamps to their auction. Not only were we pleased, but we were ecstatic with the final results. The PR that was done by their Marketing department was nothing short of outstanding. They sent us several ads/tear-sheets, along with email blasts that I'm sure aided in the prices that we were able to get. We would recommend this auction house to anyone who has the right stuff!!
