Dustin is the stylist that I use. He has a great personality and is a true professional. The salon is nicely decorated and they seem to provide a variety of services other than hair cuts.

Haircut with Steven Preston is the best I've had since a Vidal Sassoon-trained cutter did my hair in 1996. Steven is a born teacher and is the only hair stylist to ever teach me anything about how to work with my hair and keep up with it between visits. All his staff is very nice, and the scalp massage during the shampoo is to die for. Hair products are of top quality and restored my hair's condition better than anything from the drugstore I had previously tried. HIGH RECOMMEND !

i love my new look Jene you are a extensions goddess . I can't wait to come back and see Nick and get my color finished to have everything blend perfectly. I give everyone a big 10 today you guys are the best i've seen in a long time. have a great week everyone.

I went and had my hair done by Jene. I love it. I get tons of compliments and had a blast while there. I am def. going back. They were very knowledgeable of products and very helpful with what to do with my hair once i got home!!!!

As a new resident of Missouri and St. Louis, I was thrilled when a friend recommended Preston Salon and I realized what a treasure it is! Irina is absolutely fabulous! I require lots of root touch ups and have always struggled with making my color look "natural." She suggested highlights and they are better than any I have ever gotten at any salon in the past! I receive compliments on my hair on a regular basis and I love it! And the Kerastase treatment is the best thing I've ever done for my hair! Even if Irina wasn't incredibly talented, I would still patronize Preston Salon for the hair washing by Momma. I've never been so pampered! I highly recommend Preston Salon - they are absolutely the best!

So it used to take me FOREVER to style my hair after I showered. I would have to put product in, blow dry it for a ridiculously long time, more product, flat iron the heck out of it, more product, etc. It was a long process to try and straighten my hair and reduce the frizziness. Well, I have been a long time client of Preston Salon. I told the stylist I wanted to chop my hair off because of the length of time it takes me to style it. I rarely did my hair. I always just threw it up. Steven (owner) convinced me to try a new process he has that told me would drastically reduce the amount of time it took me to fix my hair. It is the Keratin Process. A week later, I was scheduled and ready to go. Angela is the one who did the treatment on my hair. People's hair is made of Keratin and the process simply puts Keratin back in your hair. Anyway, the first time I washed my hair, I began to blow dry it. Not even kidding, it took 5 minutes to blow dry! I did not need any product, I did not need to flat iron my hair, I could even leave it damp and it stayed styled! Since then, I have not worn my hair up! I fix my hair all the time and receive tons of compliments on how soft, shiny, and not frizzy my hair is! This is a revolutionary hair process and I HIGHLY recommend it if it takes you a long time to do your hair! It is the best thing I have ever done for my hair and love every minute of it.

I just want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new prescription nails I had done at Preston!! I had been getting acrylic nails for years, but Nikole the nail tech told me about a new product that is much safer and much more natural looking. I will be going to her from now on!!! Thanks Nikole, you are awesome!!!

I had one of the best spa experiences with Preston's nail tech, Nikole. The atmosphere was peaceful and her personality was very sweet. Her manicure and pedicure was definately the best I have ever had- very relaxing. . .I've tried so many different places and I finally am done searching! Nikole was amazing!

Well, Lets first start by saying, my sister is in hair school and normally does my hair. But I live in St. Louis and she lives in IL, so i can't always go to her when I need my hair done. So I really needed a touch up and I google hair salons in St. Louis, I decided to go to Preston Salon because based on 30 reviews they had good ratings. Well, Do NOT let reviews fool you! I went in just wanting a touch up and a trim. I loved the color of my hair and legth of my hair before going into this place. The girl that did my color was awesom! Her name is JJ and she listened to exactly what i wanted, just a touch up. But then to find out she wasnt cutting my hair the owner of the salon was. Well I sat down to get my hair cut and all this guy was doing is demonstrating greasy products on my hair to other clients instead of paying attention to my hair. Anyways, he asked me what i wanted done. I said a TRIM. I said i didn't want any length taken off. So the entire time he is cutting my hair I see he is takeing more and more off. After he blow dried and straightened my hair, my hair looked like a greese ball from all the product he put in, and also the entire time he was asking if i could bring some clients in. He didn't care what I wanted all he cared about is selling his products and getting clients. Well I'm sorry JJ should be running that place she actually listens to her clients and what they want!!!! Oh and by the way I spent 220.00 on a touch up and what was supposed to be a trim, and a whole lot of greese in my hair!

I went to Preston Salon Spa after I had a bad experience at a hair place I won't name but anyways I called Preston Salon Spa after finding them in the phone book and finding out they do color correction. You see my hair was totally fried and bleached and I looked like Billy Idol. So anyways the staff on the phone of Preston was so helpful and they scheduled me to come in right away. I saw Terry for my hair and she immediately put me at ease. She even used a conditioning treatment to whip it back into shape. When she was done I was so happy. My hair looked normal and not only that but it looked beautiful. The shade was wonderful and I no longer looked like Billy Idol and I got so many compliments on it. To this day I go to Preston every time and I love it. They treat you like a queen and they do a wonderful job. If you need to get your hair done or fixed go to Preston. You won't be disappointed!

J. J. is my favorite. She is a genious with color! Everywhere I go, I receive complements. I can't wait to go back & try something new for the Summer.

I would like to pay our compliments to Preston Salon for a great experience that my daughter, soon to be daughter-in-law and I had last Friday. We had a "spa day" and it could not have been better. The staff was very accommodating and worked very hard to ensure that we had a great day. Louis was responsible for all the scheduling and keeping things going and he was GREAT! We will definitely come again!! Thanks for a super day!!

I have been looking for a place to get GREAT highlights for awhile. Everywhere that I have been going they either give me to many low lights or they don't get my blonde light enough. I had a friend that told me to go to Prestons and see a girl named Terry. She did a GREAT job. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a few options to choose from. She was so friendly and made me feel really comfortable because I was a little nervous! The highlights came out beautiful and so did my haircut. She gave me exactally what a I wanted!! I will for sure be going back to her again and suggest anyone looking for a GREAT color/haircut to go se Terry!!!

I travel quite a bit for my job and like to have my hair done when I am traveling (best time time to do it as opposed to sitting in a hotel room!) I have had fabulous cut, color and service at this salon. The owner is very involved and concerned. I have seen Irena--she is so freindly and is GREAT at what she does. I wish that I travelled to St Louis more frequently!

I've been converted! I'm a Mommy and never understood why people would spend the time or money to make a salon appt. when you can just run into Great Clips. BUT NOW I KNOW. A friend (with great hair) recommended Preston to me and the experience was amazing. Having my hair washed by Momma was like getting a massage. And then Steven did wonders with my hair. He asked me about my routine and everything and I told him it had to be wash & go. He spent a long time and it felt like he gave each hair special attention. And the final result was awesome! I felt like a movie-star or something. And even better, then next day I washed my hair and just ran my fingers through and it was still awesome.



I was so impressed, I took Steven's advice and went back the next week for color with Antonio. He listened well, but I didn't know what I wanted. Just something different. Well he put three different colors into my hair including a bright orange. It sounds crazy, but I love it! It's so fun and hip. He knew what I wanted even though I couldn't tell him. And he was so nice.



So now I'm hooked. Such a difference. SO worth it! They make getting your hair done enjoyable, like a special treat, instead of another errand. Thank you guys so much!

WOW! I recently graduated from college and wanted to treat myself to something special, something that I do not usually get. I wanted to get a facial or something along those lines, but had no idea what kind or type or what to expect at all. Rachel is the girl that Preston's set me up with and she was amazing! She has a philosophy of skin care that totally made sense to me and brought up a good point I had not thought of before: You will be with your skin forever, so take care of it! She got me started on an assortment of Dermologica products and I must say, the difference is tremendous! Since my first visit, I have become a regular customer of Preston's and along with taking care of my skin, they take care of my hair, too! I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

I was pleasantly surprised with the service and results at Preston Salon. My stylist was skilled and friendly--she also made my hair look great! The salon itself is small, but trendy and well-maintained, with TONS of great reading material to keep you occupied as you sit under a blowdryer! My only disappointment: After a great consultation with the stylist for the colors and cut that would best suit my hair, the stylist never mentioned the cost. I ended up spending a bit more than I planned. The price was in the range that one would expect for services rendered, but I hate it when the final cost is kept like a secret--until it's time to pay up!

I actually called the salon based on a referral from a coworker. My last hairdresser had been damaging my hair and I was looking for someone new. When I called in, Steve answered the phone and I was impressed by the fact that he asked alot of questions about my hair before scheduling me and then was able to fit me in quickly with Ashley. She really wowed me with my color and my new cut. A trendy but conservative shag. She did exactly what I asked her to do and she did it well. I think I can finally stop shopping around for a stylist and feel comfortable with Preston Salon.

I recently transferred to Saint Louis from Manhattan. My greatest apprehension and outright FEAR was "WHO IS GOING TO DO MY HAIR??!!" God bless you Steven and your beautiful Preston staff! Your salon provides me with EVERTHING I have ever received from any salon in any city, state or country.....and then some. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
