Very lovely and knowledgeable lady . kind and soft-spoken, very good at what she does. Welcoming environment, nice quiet helper. Would definitely recommend and go back.
African collection X-pression is very good hairs. She used for me. I love it.

I will never take my daughter back here again!! Had been here before and I was always satisfied with their services, until this last time I took my daughter for Easter to get box braids. I dropped her off at 8:30am. She called me to pick her up at 6pm. Her hair was in a ponytail, but I could clearly see that the braids were a lot bigger than last time. The next day she took the ponytail down and I got a true look at the disaster they had charged me $180 for. The braids were all different lengths and unraveling at the ends. I immediately took her back to the shop to complain about the shabby job they had done. The manager made to braiders re-braid the messed up braids. It took another couple hours to do that. The next day braids started falling out of her head. I will not ever go back to Mika I will definitely find somewhere else to go!!!

I called a week in advance to make my daughter an appt. they double booked the stylist and didn't tell me anything until i asked what was going on, and this is after 45 mins of waiting. The owner then explained the situation and had called another stylist. Which wouldn't have bothered me as much if the lady didn't have an attitude. Then when the stylist showed up, the owner asked me how I wanted my daughter's hair, and I didn't get what I asked for at all!! The owner didn't try to rectify the situation, she was just like you can't get an $80 do for $60. Which confused me because she was the one who did her hair the last time, the way I wanted for $60. Unprofessional. Find another salon with better service!!

I've been here twice and both experiences have been highly low both times I got Senegalese twist first time it was $180 second time $250 but they were longer the second time. The first time it took like 10 hours this time about 7 hours, first time they took debit cards this time only cash! Braiders will stop and eat, talk on the phone, step out for 20-30 mins and leave and go get their children very unprofessional!!! Oh and you have to pay before you get your hair done and they only have two colors 1b and 33 or they only had these colors when I went the second time and half the Braiders act like they don't want to be there smh this the last time I'm going there that's y I usually just braid my own hair but sometimes it's better to spend the $$ and get it done in a couple of hours but it's your choice you have been warned!!!!

I've been going to this place for a few years until recently. They do a fantastic job with the quality of work. I even took my daughter here and I tipped them well. However, I get so tired of them not honoring appointments. Sometimes I go there and they were clueless that I was coming and there was no one there to do my hair, even though my name and number is in the appointment book for that day. I've waited for an hour and no one show up to do my hair. Even if they were running really late, a courtesy phone call would go a long way....since they ask for your number when you make an appointment. Today was the last straw. I'm finding another braid shop.

Now I am a 13 year old girl that had got my braids done THREE TIMES at this specific shop. When i had my first visit it was very good i got conrows which really didn't take that long at all. I was impressed nice workers, good timing, etc. but i was quick to judge. This place was terrible the second time i went there I had TWO people working on my head and it took ELEVEN hours and all I got was pixie braids it was TERRIBLE!!!! One of the ladies that was working on my hair was just eating and talking on the phone the whole time terrible service i say! I went a third time going to see if it i was a different person and it wasn't same person doing the same job as before and i got two strands! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS SPEFIC SHOP IT WAS TERRBLE !!!!!
