Please be very careful!

We purchased our first ever "used" camper from Midwest RV. During our initial inspection, we noticed some linoleum that was curling by the door. We asked our sales lady if the camper ever leaked. She assured us it did not, and referenced a "glue/adhesive" issue and assured us it would be fixed. Being first time camper buyers, we believed her. Unfortunately for us, this was not true.
Some time later, we brought the camper into the service department to have the roof inspected following a hailstorm. (We had it at Midwest RV within 5 days of the hailstorm) We were chastised by the service manager for not having brought it in sooner and were told the floor damage would not be covered under any insurance claim as it was an ongoing leak. We were shocked! We brought the camper home to have the insurance adjuster inspect it. When we picked it up from Midwest RV, we were given a print out that showed our campers service history with Midwest RV. There, in black and white, it showed at the time we purchased it, our campers floor had been "pulled back and the wood dried out...also, the slide out had been repaired where it was leaking...it went on to say..all other leaks were repaired. We couldn't believe it! (We later found out it was a mistake that we had been given that paper. "It is not standard practice for customers to receive those")
We went back and talked to our sales lady, and the general manager, (the owner couldn't be located to speak with us) he informed us that they had done NO WRONG in not disclosing the campers previous leak issues. He treated us as if we were wasting his time. We were told that "campers leak..and that they have lots of signs in their service department warning of this". We weren't asking for anything other than what they could do to help us fix the situation...what could they do to help earn our trust back? Our answer was simple. He wouldn't even acknowledge that we were misinformed (even though the sales lady admitted telling us it didn't leak) or that our campers condition was misrepresented.
Although we gave Midwest RV the opportunity to fix their error, they have chosen not to. They have lost us as customers forever. We will tell all our friends and family to avoid this dealer due to their unethical sales/service procedures. Be very careful!

We just purchased our 2nd camper from Midwest RV. Our salesman Jeremy Parker has been great to work with. We're a small camper rental business just getting started and we love working with Midwest RV. There's no hassle everything goes so smoothly. There is no pressure, you can simply go to look at campers without having anyone on your back. Jeremy Parker and the staff at Midwest RV will definitely have our business for a long time.

First time buyers at Midwest , what a great team from the owner to the parts/ service and finance departments. Everyone was great to work with. Honest sales and all know their products well. If you are in the market go to Midwest you will be happy.

All campers will need service or repair from time to time. Getting Midwest RV to schedule an appointment is a near impossibility. Wait times average 10 weeks or longer--just to LOOK at your camper. Then wait a few more weeks for them to put together an estimate and the season is over. To make matters worse, they will get annoyed if you call them more than once every couple weeks to check on getting your appointment. I believe this is a first-rate sales team with a disorganized (or possibly overbooked) service department. Suggestion--Before buying your next camper, call the dealer's service department and ask how soon they can schedule a repair. I wish we would have followed that advice.
