Would give zero on but it won't allow. Hubby has plantar warts on bottom of left foot. I took him to the office and Dr. Horwitz told him hyfrecation surgery was needed. He was told he would need to be sedated and wasn't comfortable with that, so we called and were told that without sedation they would be peeling him off of the ceiling. Surgery happens and approx. 6 weeks later Dr. Horwitz says he needs another surgery and around same time we start getting enormous bills in mail. Oh, turns out Dr. Horowitz knows his surgery center is out of network for everybody but he does not tell his clients until they get surprise bills. Never mind that though. We had to go to another podiatrist only to learn hyfrecation is done always without sedation. They usually only give numbing medicine in ankle. Also, surgery should have never been done in this situation. As other physicians have now said, right diagnosis but wrong treatment.
