We've been taking our dogs to Mary's for a number of years now. We didn't know Mary so can't comment on the reviews below. A great gal named Beth owns the shop now and runs it with her husband. It's clean and charming and our dogs are always well groomed and happy when we pick them up! They really seem to genuinely love all the animals and the work that they do.

Do not go!!!

I had been bringing my cat here for several yrs. They are affordable and do a good job, but the owner Mary closed up early to hop on a plane to go on vacation and left. My cat was still there locked inside w/ no one there. That is animal neglect!! How is a grommer going to go out of town and leave a customers cat still in the cage. I will never go back and hopefully no one else will either!!! Yolanda Hue

This was a series of unfortunate events. This happened over six months ago but I remember it well. we tried to call Yolanda and for whatever reason the number we had was not a working number. We did tell everyone that day that we were closing early. We were hoping that Yolanda would call when she didn't hear from us at the time we told her we were closing. We didn't hear from her and I went home to get ready for my flight. Beth waited for two hours and then she transferred the calls to her home and left a note on the door for Yolanda to call the shop number to make arrangements to get her cat. She also put my cell number on the note. Beth also called me to tell me what she was doing but I didn't hear the phone because I was in the shower. I also didn't realize that she left a message for me. When Yolanda showed up to the shop it was closed. Beth was still on her way home so Yolanda couldn't reach her. Yolanda called my cell number and I was surprised because I didn't know that Beth had left the shop. I tried to reach Beth but by that time she was outside with her dogs and didn't hear her phone. I called Yolanda back and told her I would be there in half an hour to give her cat to her. I was still a little confused myself and told Yolanda that we had forgotten to call right away and when we did call the number we had was not a working number. I ask her again what her number was and she rattled off a totally different number than the one she gave me that morning. To this day I don't know if I wrote the number down wrong or if she gave me the wrong number. Well everything turned out okay, Yolanda got her cat, I caught my plane and Beth told me about the message she left on my voicemail which explained what I was confused about. You have to realize that we have waited until late into the evening for people to pick up their pets. We have a policy now that if pets are not picked up on time we will wait one hour and then leave a note on the door with contact information. Beth actually waited for two hours past the time we said we were closing. We didn't forget her cat and take off on a plane. There was contact information left for her to make arrangements to get her cat. So again you see this was a series of unfortunate events.
