Dr. Marie Philipneri treats patients for conditions related to kidney disorders and disease, and hypertension. She provides evaluation and management of: resistant and secondary hypertension; lupus nephritis; diabetic and chronic kidney disease; anemia in renal disease; urinary tract infections; kidney stones and other conditions. She uses the latest technology in her practice, including 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure measurement, and systems to measure central blood pressure/pulse wave velocity. Dr. Philipneri is interested in research into kidney diseases, hypertension, and outcomes research. She is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Philipneri serves as medical director of the outpatient dialysis program. Her memberships include the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and the American Society of Hypertension (ASH), where she is anASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension. Dr. Philipneri enjoys traveling, music, racket sports, and listening to National Public Radio.
