I had a mold/mildew infestation for 7 out of the 12 months I lived there and they got the surfaces cleaned just once, but didn't bother fixing the dampness and humidity in the apartment so the mold kept growing.

After months of me demanding they do something, they refused to show me any of the results of the testing, laughed at me when I told them what I needed from them, but claimed that the mold was not toxic and didn't kill me therefore they aren't liable for any damages, inconveniences or cleaning fees etc. even though I can't clean everything the mold got into, have had to throw things away, have damaged things trying to clean them etc. There was enough humidity to crack a granite and wood cutting board, literally all my belongings were covered in mold/mildew. I had to move to another apartment because of this.

They refuse to do anything about it and seem to care even less when a woman complains vs a man. They even threw a dresser away that I left for them to test the mold spores on and refuse to reimburse me for trashing it despite my being diplomatic and professional.
