My family is originally from St. Louis, and we've been ordering molasses puffs, and other candies at Christmas time from Kipps for well over 45 years. It was a tradition that was passed on to me from my grandmother and aunt. Sadly, there have been years without Kipps, like when we moved when I was a kid and the year Kipps had the fire, and Christmas just wasn't the same. But then the next year was even extra special. This tradition is now into our fourth generation; my kids hound me every year to make sure I place an order, and I'm sure it will be one Christmas tradition that will be passed down to many of our future generations. But beware, once you've had a Kipps molasses puff melt in your mouth, OTHER store-bought candy will lose it's appeal !! THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN KIPP'S CANDIES !!
