Irreco LLC owned by Aaron Dippold performed landscaping and drainage work for us between 2018 and 2020. The landscaping work was deficient and against multiple building codes in a number of respects as outlined below.

The land is built at a higher elevation than permitted by IRC Building Code R317.1(2) in that it is practically even with the bottom of the siding. The code requires that the finish elevation be no higher than eight (8) inches below the bottom sill to the exposed ground.

The earth is also not sloped away from the house as required by IRC Building Code R401.3. ‘A slope of 6 inches for the first ten (10) feet away from the foundation is required. If 10 feet or slope is not available due to lot lines, walls, or other physical barriers, the final slope away from the foundation must be at least 5 percent.

The swales in the yard are not adequately constructed to allow water to run off effectively and in a timely manner leaving the ground saturated and swampy. Water continues to stand long after any precipitation has occurred.

Moreover, the shoddy installation of the sod in which Irreco neglected to remove the old grass before setting the new sod has caused all the weeds and undergrowth to come through. The sod being installed over the existing grass has also caused for a higher elevation of the yard and very uneven places and trip hazards as well as separation of the sodding in many places. The use of two different breeds of sod (Kentucky Bluegrass and Fescue) makes the yard look very poorly constructed and piecemeal.

Irreco has been given plenty of opportunities to correct these issues, but have opted to avoid us and the issues. I encourage everyone to do their own homework on construction as this company does not.

Irrigation line was cut when new deck was installed. The company I have used for 20 years couldn't get out for 2 1/2 weeks. Irreco was out in 6 days. Receptionist was professional. Installer called 15 minutes before he arrived. Explained what he would do to fix irrigation line in detail. Less than 45 minutes later he was done, and everything is working beautifully! I will be switching companies to Irreco for all our sprinkler system needs.
