This store has quickly become my go to place for dance wear. I have four girls that all dance and anything I need head to toe has. Exceptional service and great selection. I think the one bad comment on here was due to someone having a bad day and projecting her feeling on to the shop. Don't listen, this place is great. I bring my kids all the time and even if they misbehave, the workers never seem to mind. Very patient and understanding.

I love this store! Everyone is so nice and friendly, as to the previous reviewers remarks I don't see how you could know that employees feelings. Unless your a mind reader you have no idea what is going through anyone's head. Even if she looked at your ring it could have been because it is pretty (I admit I do this) not because of your skin color. I have only ever witnessed a friendly and positive attitude from everyone in the store. Definitely the best shop in Saint Louis don't be deterred from the negative remark!

Okay, this is the first negative review that I have ever given any business and it is due to the horrible experience my family and I had in this store that I am compelled to let everyone know about it. We went to this store to buy ballet shoes for my daughter (her first pair). The young lady that helped us pick out her shoes was very pleasant and courteous; however upon check out we were given a stare-down by a tall blonde white women, who stood hovering over us with an annoyed look on her face. My husband and I have four children, who were all with us, and I could see her staring at my wedding ring and then looking for his, as if to be surprised that their are young African-American couples with kids that are married. She made every nonverbal gesture to make us feel unwelcome. I think the typical response would be to tell everyone not to shop here, but instead I will say, please go to this store and pray for this lady. Pray that God fills her heart with love, peace and an understanding that she, like everyone on this Earth, regardless of skin or class, is a child of God and should be treated with respect and dignity accordingly...in Jesus' name.

I found this business on YP.com after looking on Google for a local business. I was later referred by another local dance shop owner. At the last minute, they had what I needed. The store owner was very helpful kind, and held the items until I got there. They were a life saver!
I would recommend them to anyone. They have a little bit of everything!
