I was a patient here back in 2013 or 2012. I started in inpatient and ended up in residential. I can't say that I liked everyone there when it comes to the staff. I liked specific people and everyone else should not have been there. A lot of the staff were mean and clearly didn't want to be there. Also, since I was there for awhile, let me tell you some stuff that the people working there WONT. On many occasions since I was there and even before I got there, staff members had gotten into relationships with the kids. Not only can kids not legally give their consent due to being TAKEN CARE OF by these staff members, but they're underage! My friend in there was 16 when it happened to her and I was 16 when it happened to me. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this facility because the staff members take advantage of the kids in more ways than one. Also, the therapist I had never let me feel the way I wanted to. I could never be sad so you basically had to lie to the staff so that they wouldn't punish you or lower your level because you were upset that day. I do not recommend this horrible facility. They use punishment against you at all costs and they make you stay inside if the staff members don't want to go outside. And if you live in a hospital, you see why that's a big deal. Research this place a lot before you decide to send your kid here. If they're anything like me, they will cry every night because they want to go home. Thanks.

i was molested at this place when i was 9yrs old back in 1985 by one of the residents. i told staff they moved me to another room only to move me back in the same room. when my mother finally got me out. Also during that time alot of the girls were being molested by staff and residents, this was in the news. I wouldnt allow my dog to stay in this awful God forsaken place

At age 16 my sister went there, in the late 90s. Her fist day there she was beaten by several guards in one of the unoccupied rooms for hitting a nurse who was trying to force her to eat, the nurse watched saying, I know this is outrageous but, "that's what you get." Then she was drugged. Our parents informed the hospital of what had happened but nothing came of it. She was sexually assaulted wile drugged during this stay as well, there is proof of this. When she was sexually assaulted they took samples of the fluids left on her and fluids from all the male patients, they didn't find a match. Then the hospital told my sister it would be near impossible to test as many guards as they employed at the time so they made the choice not to. She also has huge scars from her head being smashed against a mirror there, she required stitches. There is more of this but I think I have made my point. These were only stories that she could prove
