Super!

This is a great place to find Jamaican Ginger Beer in a bottle. They have nice pastries, including Greek Baklava. The produce department offers a wide selection of unusual vegetables. Their fresh peppers are the best I have found anywhere.

A little pricey but a great variety!

I love the store and I also love thier vegetable collections and the freshness. It's a fabulous place giving that they cover almost all the ethnic peoples' receipies in St. Louis.

However, I find the prices are a little over what I see in other places, at least for the generic stuffs. For some specialy products though, the extra price seems to be worthy enough.

Apart fromt his, the store is well maintained and non-stinky. I recommend this store if you are willing to check around the globe and see other culture's cuisines.

Multi specialty groceries

They have a wide range of ethnic foods as well as simple American foods. Their meat is excellent. You can often find marked down steaks as well as other meats. They have marked down vegetables often as well. Cheeses, cheeses, all countries represented. It is an old A&P store so it's large and has many types of breads, canned specialties and wines. I couldn't be without this "drop by to see what bargains are on today" store. The manager and employees give you personal attention any time.

Around the World in 80 minutes

Well, maybe not 80, maybe more, maybe less depending on what you are looking for. It is easy to forget about the time in this store as you walk up and down aisles named after different countries. They have food items from countries I did not even know existed. This place is AMAZING... ya gotta go just to look at what people eat from other countries. And the prices are very reasonable...how do they get those heavy jars of marinated red peppers here so cheap? Anyway, if you want RICE, they've got bags of it from all nations, big and small, brown, white, Italian, basmati. If you want TEA, they've got the BIGGEST TEA selection of any store in St. Louis for sure, maybe even Missouri. Tea is above the frozen food bins in the middle of the store. Some items are in several places, like pasta can be on 4 different aisles depending on what country it is from. Plus, you will meet and see people from all over the world when you shop here. Sometimes I just buy things out of curiosity and discover something new that I like... and sometimes I say, yuk I won't eat that again. But that is why this place is such an adventure in international cuisine. Which is why you just might want to make sure you've got 80 minutes or more to spare. Have fun.
