I cannot recommend Gateway more highly! Rich personally was the DJ at my wedding and it was so much fun! The crowd really got into it and had almost as much fun as my husband and I!! I asked Gateway to do my wedding on short notice, and also gave them several requests and what not to play and so on..I felt pretty bad with as many emails as I was sending. But everything turned out perfectly and all my requests fulfilled! My friends were still talking about my DJ after I came back from my honeymoon! Rich got to know my husband and I only in a few short months, but with the way he personalized our wedding, he felt like an old friend! I definitely recommend this company and will use them in the future for any occasion where i need their services!

Unfortunately, I had a very similar experience to Jessica C below. My parents chose Gateway DJs for my wedding. Rich had promised them that he would be the DJ for the wedding. My husband and I met with Rich several months before our wedding and discussed song preferences, specific things we wanted ("Anniversary" dance, beatmixing of songs) and things we didn't want ( a DJ that talked more than played music). However, 2 days before the wedding we get a call from "DJ Ron" that he would be our DJ instead. Ron said that he had talked to Rich, but when we arrived he didn't have our entrance song! There was no beatmixing, there was no "Anniversary dance" and he spent the evening hitting on my bridesmaids. Many of my friends are getting married this year and they know from my experience not to choose Gateway.

We hired DJ Dave S. with Gateway DJ's for our wedding reception. Dave did a great job! He knew exactly what to do and was very concerned in making the evening special and carefree for my wife and I. Would recommend Gateway and Dave for any occasion! THANKS DAVE!

Gateway DJs is excellent! We got married July 31, 2010 and he made our night magical. The one thing you remember on your wedding night is the music, atmosphere and being with the people you love. He had a way of connecting all of that into the reception. There was laughter with the games, excitement with the songs and cherished moments with the specialty dances. There were definitely no complaints from the guests and my father did nothing but praise how good he was! This company was cheaper than most of the DJs that I looked at and far exceeded what they promised! As a bride I would not recommend any other DJ than Gateway! Thank you for making our night magical!

They were the best!!! DJ's can make it or break it-These guys were really good. Would not have changed one thing they did. The choice of music was the best for my daughters wedding. I will remember the last song they played and I tear up whenever I hear it. Every one danced and had a great time!!! Meeting with them was a good experience as well.Hey and then the prices were pretty good too.

Hiring Gateway DJ's to do the music for my wedding reception was one of the best choices that I made for my wedding. From the beginning of working with them, they were very professional and quick to return communication. Not having been very aware of what the normal flow of a wedding reception was, Gateway DJs worked with me to design a flow of events for the evening. They came to the reception site and were set up and ready to go before our reception. When the wedding party arrived and the guests were all there, they took over running the evening. Gateway DJ's did an excellent job reflecting my and my husband's wishes for our reception and made it a truly beautiful and fun wedding experience. Despite the fact that we had a shorter dancing time than normal, they made good use of the time and never have I seen so many people on the dance floor of a wedding. Since our wedding, I have had several people ask me who our DJ was because they did an excellent job for the wedding. A wedding is a party but also needs to be an elegant event that is not offensive to the wide age range of peole attending. Gateway DJ's played music that a large variety of people could dance to and had ways of getting people on the floor to participate and dance rather than just watch awkwardly. I would highly recommend their services to anyone wanting an affordable DJ that will provide excellent service and ensure a good time for your guests.

These guys were absolutely fabulous at the recent Braswell-Caldwell wedding reception! As the groom's motherr, I pass on tremendous kudos from our family. We had our wedding 05/30/2010, and we keep saying how perfect our day was. It turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined, and I credit a lot of that to Gateway DJs (Rich was our DJ for the evening). I was worried that we wouldn't have a lot of our guests dancing at the reception, but there was the furthest thing from the truth! Everyone was on the dance floor having a great night. Rich made our evening go off smoothly, and I would recommend him to anyone!!

I am the prom sponsor at Francis Howell Central High School. We used Gateway DJs at our 2010 prom. DJ Rich did a wonderful job! He was polite, professional, friendly, and great with the highschoolers. They had a website set up so the kids could request songs ahead of time. I got the extra package with the large screen which he played music videos on for the kids to see while they were dancing. DJ Rich waived the deposit and had competitive prices. We were happy to have chosen Gateway DJs for our prom!

I am a prom co-sponsor for an Illinois high school, and our class president did some research and found Gateway DJs. The price was right, he was impressed with the response he got, and it was a great choice! They waived our deposit, making their price even more appealing. DJ Rich and I were in contact a few times before the prom. They set up a song request website, so the kids could have music they wanted at the prom...and did they ever! The dance floor was jam-packed most of the night because of the great music, fun energy and lively entertainment that DJ Rich provided. Gateway DJs were easy to work with, reasonably priced and provided a stellar service for our event. Promgoers said they were the best DJs they'd ever had, no complants at all (which is pretty impressive from a group of high schoolers!) I would recommend them with no reservations at all!

Our organization used Gateway Dj's for two events this past year, a winter formal dance for 500 and a graduation party for 400, and they were totally great.



The website to request songs in advance was a big hit with the students, and kept things hopping all evening. DJ Rich was also extremely professional, arriving well in advance and staying on top of the needs of the party all night. Don't let their competitive prices fool you into thinking that they are a cut-rate outfit. Everything they did was top-notch.
